John Stamos of "Full House" fame is a proud older brother to his not-so-little sister, Alaina Stamos, who celebrated her birthday recently.

JOHN IS PROUD Of ALAINA'S ACHIEVEMENTS

The actor took to Instagram to send Alaina heartfelt wishes alongside a photo slide of snaps from their childhood days, early adult years, and as fully grown adults. He wrote alongside the photos,

"Happy birthday to my baby sister @Alainastamos. You're such a good person, sister, friend, aunt to Billy, and someone who is always there for me."

The actor continued,

"I'm proud of all the incredible humanitarian work you are doing and proud to call you my sister. Love you. Happy B Day. Xo, J."

The celebrant returned her brothers kindness in the comment section with the words,

"Thank you! Love you! Proud of you too," and a heart-shaped emoji.

JOHN IS THE ONLY ENTERTAINER IN THE FAMILY

John and Alaina are the children of an immigrant Greek father and an Irish English mother. They share a sister Janeen Stamos, and the siblings share a close bond, and all live in California. While the sisters work in the educational field, the actor chose a different path a long time ago.

From the age of four, the "Bye Bye Birdie" star took an interest in drums that later took him to the world of music and acting. In high school, he formed a band, "Destiny," that played at parties, and functions, but also decided to try acting after graduating.

HE DIDN'T FINISH COLLEGE

Although John had an admission at Cypress College, he took an exemption for a year, but never went back after landing his breakout role in "General Hospital."

Soon after, the "Never Too Young To Die" star became a household name after starring as "Uncle Jesse" in "Full House," a role he is currently reprising in the Netflix revival, "Fuller House."

The "Dreams" actor has equally worked behind the scenes as a producer, and in his younger years, he toured as a drummer with the "Beach Boys," and released a single, "Forever," with them in '92.

John has recorded more success as an actor than a musician, but the two continue to be his greatest passion. The Emmy nominated actor married twice; first to Rebecca Romijn, from '98 to 2005, and in 2018 to Caitlin McHugh.

Stamos has a son, Billy, with Catlin; he is focused on his family, and doing more behind the scenes work.
