Inside 'America's Got Talent' Judge Julianne Hough and Husband Brooks Laich's Sweet Marriage

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich appear to be one of the strongest married couples in the entertainment industry as revealed by their cute Instagram photos as well as their several public statements of adoration and respect for one another.

“America’s Got Talent” judge, Julianne Hough, and Canadian hockey star, Brooks Laich, met for the first time back in 2013 through a mutual friend, actor Teddy Sears.

Hough revealed that she was working with Sears on a horror movie, which never got released when he mentioned Laich to her for the first time.

Laich apparently had a crush on Hough ever since he saw her on a Juicy Fruit commercial. So, after confirming that Hough was single, he arranged their meeting in Washington D.C.

IT FELT SPECIAL RIGHT FROM THE START

By the year 2014, they were already in an open relationship. Hough even mentioned in an interview that she was having a great time with Brooks with whom she shared a different kind of relationship than she did with her ex, Ryan Seacrest.

“I had one foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt," she recalled. "And I didn’t say what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. But now I’m not holding anything back, because I’d rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love."

Hough further revealed that her newfound outlook on relationships was a result of an epiphany she had during a seminar that her family attended.

So when Sears introduced her to Laich, it happened at perfect timing. “We’ve been open and honest from day one,” Hough said in the interview.

HE PUT A RING ON IT!

In 2015, Laich finally proposed Hough and the couple got engaged and Hough took to Instagram to share the news with her fans and followers.

She also revealed to her fans that they were watching the sunset on their deck at home when Laich got down on his knee and popped the question.

Hough and Laich tied the knot on July 2017. The couple recently celebrated their second anniversary and Laich took to Instagram to pay tribute to his loving wife underscoring how their love is only growing stronger.
