Catherine Zeta-Jones treated her fans on Instagram with a rare throwback video of herself tap dancing. Her dance moves have always been flawless!
The actress, who rose to fame with her roles in iconic movies including "The Mask of Zorro" and "Entrapment," shared a throwback video from when she was 17 years old on Instagram.
In the video, Zeta-Jones looks fluid as she seamlessly performs a tap-dancing routine with a partner. With her medium-bob hair and a beautiful blue dress, the actress is a sight to behold while she sways along the stage with her incredible moves.
A lover of tap-dancing, she performed the routine at the Theater Royal Drury Lane, London.
A PRODIGAL KID
The Wales-born actress had a keen interest in the entertainment industry ever since she was a kid. She enjoyed a successful career as a child in West End productions.
Later on, Zeta-Jones followed her passion for stage performance and studied musical theatre in London. At the age of 15, she landed a lead role in the British revival of "42nd Street," a musical by Mark Bramble and Michael Stewart.
SHOOTING FOR THE STARS
In the early 1990s, the actress shot to fame after starring in the comedy/drama series "The Darling Buds of May." That was the beginning of Zeta-Jones' glorious career.
A year later, Zeta-Jones was cast in the movie "Christopher Columbus: The Discovery." She landed her breakthrough role in "The Mask of Zorro" where she appeared alongside Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas.
In 2002, the actress bagged an Academy Award as the "Best Supporting Actress" for her role in the musical comedy "Chicago."
ZETA-JONES' KIDS HAVE TAKEN AFTER HER
Zeta-Jones tied the knot with actor Michael Douglas in 2000. They are proud parents to their two children, Dylan Michael and Carys.
Just like their parents, the kids are interested in the entertainment industry. In an interview with HELLO!, Zata-Jones revealed that her children have a passion for arts.
“I think they're good at it," she said. "When they're on stage, you want to look at them. And they're interested in the craft. My son wants to do a Bachelor of Arts in theatre. My daughter wanted to be a paediatrician until she was five, when she decided acting was better."
Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys were featured on the September issue of Vanity Fair Spain.
Carys, 16, looked chic in an olive Fendi blazer paired with a pussy-bow shirt for the cover shot. Meanwhile, Zeta-Jones donned a matching blazer with a crisp white shirt.
The mother-daughter duo looked incredibly classy as they posed for the camera.
