John Goodman Reunites with ‘Blues Brothers’ Dan Aykroyd on ‘the Conners’ Set

The "Blues Brothers" crooners John Goodman and Dan Aykroyd reunited on the set of "The Conners" to make a guest appearance on the show.

John Goodman will reunite with his "Blues Brothers 2000" co-star Dan Aykroyd in an episode of "The Conners" which will air on October 8.

Goodman and Aykroyd will be poker buddies during the episode where Katey Sagal will also be back as Dan Conner's crush Louise.

A COLLISION OF TWO WORLDS

ABC's "Cast From The Past" will unite TV stars and film stars starting October 7. A week-long reunion is underway with cast members of famous shows and movies will reunite for a dozen comedies and dramas.

Besides Goodman and Aykroyd, cast members from "Cheers," "The Drew Carey Show," "Charmed," "Think Like a Man," and "Wet Hot American Summer," and "Crazy Rich Asians" will be involved in the show.

THE STAR-STUDDED SEASON 2

October 7: For the show's premiere, the themed week of ABC will feature actor Robert Sean Leonard from "House" in "The Good Doctor." Both of the shows were created by executive producer David Shore.

October 8: In the next episode titled "The Conners", the "Blues Brothers 2000" stars John Goodman and Dan Aykroyd will reunite as poker buddies.

The second installment of the series will also feature Michael Ian Black with his "Wet Hot American Summer" co-star Lake Bell in "Bless This Mess."

Meanwhile, "Girlfriends" stars Golden Brooks, Jill Marie Jones and Persia White reunite with Tracee Ellis Ross in "Black-ish."

October 9: Actors Kristie Alley, John Ratzenberger, Rhea Perlman, and George Wendt will reunite for an episode of "The Goldbergs." Besides them, actor Adam Brody appears on "Single Parents."

October 11: Stars from "The Drew Carrey Show" including Ryan Stiles and Kathy Kinney reunite with Diedrich Bader on "American Housewife." Actor Ken Jeong will make a return as Gene on "Fresh Off the Boat."

October 13: Actors Seamus Deaver and Jon Huertas from "Castle" guest star alongside Nathan Filion on "The Rookie."

The second season of "The Conners" will debut on September 24.
