Daily Joke: Little Johnny Goes Back to School after a Break

Little Johnny went back to school after a long holiday. Read on to find out what happened after he misbehaved in the classroom.

"Why do holidays have to come to an end?" Little Johnny thought as he packed his school bag. After enjoying three blissful months of holidays, he wasn't very eager to go back to school.

A couple of days later, Little Johnny's mother got a call from his school. One of the teachers complained about how he was misbehaving at school.

Before the teacher could finish, Little Johnny's mother interrupted her.

"Wait a minute," the mother snapped, clearly irate. "You are complaining about how my son is misbehaving in the class?"

"Er, yes, ma'am. That happens to be the case," the teacher replied.

"Listen to me, missy. Johnny was at home with me for three whole months and I never called you once when he misbehaved."

"Huh?" said the confused teacher.

"If I can keep my problems to myself, why can't you show me the same courtesy!" the angry mother barked.

LITTLE JOHNNY LEARNS A SECRET

It was just another boring day at school for Little Johnny. As he lazily sulked on his desk while fidgeting with a pencil, his friend whispered to him.

"Pssst! Did you know that most adults are hiding at least one dark secret?" his friend whispered.

Curious, Little Johnny shook his head no with his eyes wide open.

"Try it with your parents tonight. Just tell them that you know the whole truth and wait for their reaction," his friend expertly said.

Determined to see whether the trick really works, Little Johnny approached his mother upon getting home.

"I know the whole truth," he said.

His mother's expression changed after hearing those words. Without wasting another moment, she handed out a $20 bill to him and said:

“Just don’t tell your father.”

Little Johnny was thoroughly amused. Did the trick actually work?

After some time, his father came home from work. "I know the whole truth," Little Johnny said to him.

His father nervously handed out a $40 to him and said: “Not a word to your mother.”

By now, Little Johnny was convinced that adults indeed had secrets.

The next day, as Little Johnny was getting out of his home, he saw the mailman bringing a couple of mails to his house.

"I know the whole truth," Little Johnny said to him.

“Then come give your daddy a great big hug!” the mailman said.
