LHHH: 'Love 'Em All' Singer K. Michelle Reveals Concerns about Her YouTube Star Surrogate Tannae
Expectant mom of twins, K. Michelle has several "red flag" issues with her surrogate and she divulged them in a recent episode of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood."
K. Michelle has some serious concerns about her surrogate. Apart from the woman’s surprise admission that she was carrying the singer’s twins, she’s wrapped in the illusion that there will be strings attached between their families after the children’s birth.

THE FIRST RED FLAG
Back in April, it was announced that K. Michelle was expecting twins. The R&B singer proudly revealed the news on her Instagram just as her hired surrogate, Tannae spilled that she was carrying the babies.
Though it wasn’t a secret that K. Michelle used a surrogate for this pregnancy, it was the fact that Tannae revealed her identity that didn’t sit well with the singer.
“I picked Tannae because I love how she takes care of her kids. But there have been some things that have given me the red flag, like the social media stuff that’s going on right now.
During a recent episode of “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” K. Michelle opened up about the red flags that got her worried about Tannae.
For one thing, she wasn’t happy when the vlogger announced through her YouTube channel that she was K. Michelle’s surrogate. Though she didn’t directly name the singer, she might as well have with the hints she dropped prompting her followers to easily guess who the mother of the babies she was carrying was.
K. Michelle expressed her disappointment on her show.
“I picked Tannae because I love how she takes care of her kids. But there have been some things that have given me the red flag, like the social media stuff that’s going on right now. Like, she did a whole video. Imagine waking up and everyone knows your surrogate.”
“I’m not trying to do an extended family,” the celebrity mom clarifies.
THE SECOND ISSUE
To add to her dismay, Tannae’s boyfriend, Keyontay, was making useless demands.
“Tannae’s boyfriend has asked me for a contract,” revealed K. Michelle. “Who the [expletive] do you think I am, motha[expletive]. You ain’t even having the kids, and that ain’t even your wife, and it ain’t gonna affect you.”
K. Michelle intended to carry her own children with her boyfriend, Kasten Simswhen she announced last year that her doctor gave her the go-signal that she was capable. But after a lupus health scare, she struggled with fertility issues and decided surrogacy would be her best route.
A THIRD PROBLEM
But that’s not all she’s worried about. According to the reality star, Tannae is expecting to maintain a relationship with her after the babies are born.
“She wants to talk on the phone every day,” she says in disbelief. “And then she says things like this, ‘Yeah and we’re going to have the babies and we’re all going to hang out.’”
“I’m not trying to do an extended family,” the celebrity mom clarifies.
WHY SHE TOOK THE SURROGACY ROUTE
K. Michelle intended to carry her own children with her boyfriend, Kasten Sims when she announced last year that her doctor gave her the go-signal that she was capable. But after a lupus health scare, she struggled with fertility issues and decided surrogacy would be her best route.
In December, she announced that she had found the “perfect match,” describing her surrogate as “a blessing, my guardian angel.” That may not be the case now after she revealed her problems with Tannae.
