RHOA Stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Are Expecting Another Child via Surrogate: Report

Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are finally having another child via surrogate after Kandi previously expressed her hesitations about it.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are expecting their second child together and this time, they’ve decided to have their baby via surrogate.

It’s no secret that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” couple have wanted to expand their family. In November, Kandi revealed that she wanted to use her remaining embryos from her previous IVF. Her 3-year-old son, Ace was conceived through the procedure.

"Todd and I are both nervous about it. I think it's easier for Todd to handle or deal with because as a man he's used to somebody else carrying the baby."

Kandi shared that although she would rather carry the embryo herself, problems with her previous pregnancy made her consider taking the surrogacy route. The only hesitation she had was the thought of somebody else carrying her child and losing her sense of motherhood because of it.

"Todd and I are both nervous about it. I think it's easier for Todd to handle or deal with because as a man he's used to somebody else carrying the baby," the 43-year-old mother-of-two told The Daily Dish.

"But for me, it's a little bit harder for me to deal with the thought because I'm supposed to carry my own kids in my mind,” she explained.

However, it seems she’s warmed up to the idea, thanks to Andy Cohen's comforting assurance. On Thursday, Bravo announced that Kandi and Todd are expecting via surrogate.

No further details were shared about the pregnancy except that the conflict that arose from it will be featured in the new season of RHOA which will premiere in November 3. In the show’s trailer, fans get a quick glimpse of that conflict which has to do with Todd’s expansion of his businesses.

Todd and Kandi, aside from being parents to Ace, also share two children from their previous relationships. Kandi has 17-year-old daughter, Riley while Todd has 22-year-old Kaela.
