The Oscar-winning actress dazzled in a white and black gown, which showed her figure to a perfect point and fitting her tiny waist. Today show also shared a lengthy captioned picture of the "Calagula" star at the event, on their Instagram page.
Helen looked happy as she thrilled the audience while walking on the runway. Speaking to VOGUE about her experience on aging, she said,
"It's much better to age disgracefully! My mother once said, 'Never worry about getting older. I know the thought of you being 45 when you're 25 is, 'Oh, my God! Who wants to be 45?' But it's amazing because when you get to be 45, you'll realize it's actually very cool, and you don't want to be 25 again."
She further explained that death is an inevitable experience for everyone, old and young. She continued that her mother was right about her philosophy of aging, as every age comes with its pros and cons. And you realize that you don't want to be younger but exactly where you are with one's experience.
The location of the fashion show, Paris, is home to Helen. She not only speaks French but with the accent; earlier in her career, she was a resident of France for six months while doing experimental theatre work.
Helen disclosed that she had a single room without the hot water running, when she needed a bath, a woman would have to fill the tub with hot water and she'd stand in a plastic bowl.
Mirren described the French fashion sense as "elegant" irrespective of their age, and she feels fashion is part of their lives.
