Sharing a series of pictures to celebrate the life of her mother, we all agree Patricia lived a full and happy life.
Amy explained that the last two weeks was both happy and sad as her mother's death came just days after her engagement to beau Chris Marek.
She wrote:
"My heart broke, I cried, and sadness came upon me. I didn't know what emotions to feel. Happy one moment, sad the next."
In her Instagram post, the 55-year old mother revealed how conflicted she felt about the death of her mother as "the woman who raised and loved her wasn't here anymore."
The matriarch of the Roloff family said she felt sad that she wouldn't be able to talk to her mom anymore. However, she was happy and grateful that her mum was in a better place and wouldn't suffer anymore.
She went ahead to reveal how relieved she felt that her mom had seen her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her last days. Amy described Knight as "feisty and with a gentle heart."
She also remembered her hurting father in her heartfelt message and noted he would miss his wife of 67 years. She wrote:
"I pray for my Dad. He's by himself, and He misses her so much. He'll be 91 soon, and he lost his friend, his wife and the person he's known for over 70 years and been married to for 67 years."
One of the images shared showed the beautiful wedding pictures of young-looking Amy's parents. Another showed Knight's younger version and recent ones with her mother with walking aid in the background.
Condolencs messages have since been flooding Amy's post. Patricia Knight died at age 86 on September 24, at her home in Michigan.
PEOPLE reveals that Amy lost her mother barely two weeks after getting engaged to her boyfriend, Chris Marek who proposed on September 18.
