'Live' Co-Host Kelly Ripa Gets Dressing Room Full of Balloons and a Bread-Shaped Cake for Her 49th Birthday

The TV star got a series of amazing birthday surprises, including a dressing room full of balloons and a bread-shaped birthday cake by Buddy Valastro.

Kelly Ripa's 49th birthday got all the publicity it deserved and more. The reality television star experienced loads of surprises, so much so that she was left wondering if it was her last birthday ever.

WHO DID IT BEST?

The 49-year-old celebrated her big day in the company of family and friends who went out of their way to out-do each other in gifting her the best birthday experience.

Her husband started off her day with white roses and floating bouquet scattered at strategic points of their apartment for Kelly to find.

The fun rose-search left the birthday girl in high spirits as she made her way to work, oblivious of the birthday fest that awaited her within the studio walls.

MORE BIRTHDAY SURPRISES

The mother of three got another surprise from Ryan Seacrest, fellow anchor of the reality show, "Live With Kelly And Ryan." Ryan went all-out with his present, as he filled her dressing room with balloons, some of which spelled out her name.

The show host expressed her love for the balloon cluster, saying it looked like a fantasy land. She added:

"You know I love a balloon more than the average girl. My entire dressing room is decorated with the most extraordinary balloons. It's amazing."

To crown it all, a huge cake, shaped like a bread loaf was wheeled into the stage by Consuelos, Kelly's husband. The star could not contain her excitement on sighting the Buddy Valastro's piece. She admitted:

"I was mesmerized by the cake."

She added:

"I didn't see Mark was wheeling it out!"

ODES TO THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

The gifting was followed shortly by a birthday song performed by the studio crew, with Adam Lambert taking the lead. The 49-year-old found this fulfilling, she exclaimed:

"I could die right now. That's a bucket list moment that I never even knew was a possibility."

Consuelo later posted birthday wishes to his wife on social media and a couple of throwback pictures.

This comes days after the couple posted throwback photos of their daughter, Lola, to celebrate The National Daughter Day.

Kelly wrote on her timeline:

"Happy #NationalDaughterDay Lola. I'm the luckiest to call you mine."

The reality star also opened up about her daughter's recent move to college. She revealed:

"We moved Lola into her dorm, and it is one of those things that you don't realize how close the kids are."

The Consuelos' have finally adjusted to Lola's absence while the eighteen-year-old is having a blast at NYU.
