Sailor Brinkley-Cook Stuns in 'Cinderella' Dress for DWTS 'Disney Night' and Fans React
Sailor Brinkley-Cook stunned in a beautiful dress for Disney night on DWTS, and she impressed her fans with more than her dress.
On the latest episode of "Dancing with the Stars," Sailor Brinkley-Cook wowed the audience with her dress and dance moves.
STRAIGHT FROM A CINDERELLA STORY
The Disney night episode saw Brinkley-Cook dressed in an off-shoulder pale blue gown as she danced the Viennese waltz, with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, to "A Drama is a Wish Your Heart Makes," by Lily James. The song is a soundtrack from "Cinderella."
The model and her dance partner got a total of 24 points from the DWTS judges, and fans thought their flawless performance deserved better. One person comparing Brinkley-Cook to Sean Spicer commented:
"Sailor Brinkley-Cook had non-stop fluid steps. Sean barely moves. Shouldn't they give the highest score to harder dancers."
SIMPLY STUNNING
Others chose to focus on the model without making comparisons, and one person tweeted:
"That was beautiful, simply stunning, Sailor and Val."
While another person wrote:
"Beautiful Sailor #DWTS."
The young performer had the support of her mother, Christie Brinkley, during the impressive performance, and the older woman had tears in her eyes, seeing her daughter dance so effortlessly.
Christie was supposed to appear in DWTS but had to pull out three days to the first taping due to an injured hand. Her daughter filled in for her, and in September, Brinkley-Cook revealed that accepting to take her mother's place, was not an easy decision.
SHE WAS TERRIFIED
In an interview at the time, she said:
"I didn't want to do it at first, honestly. I was terrified. It was a scary thing for me, the whole idea of having to live on stage, being on TV, that's something I've never done before."
Brinkley-Cook refused to let fear keep her from competing, and now she's having the time of her life on the dance show. Beyond dancing, DWTS helped the 22-year-old model overcome the insecurities she grew up with.
"I grew up doubtful of myself in a lot of ways."

The young woman added that showing up for rehearsals every day and becoming someone else on stage has helped her embrace and overcome the self-doubts, and now, she's more confident and self-assured.
DWTS airs Mondays on ABC at 8 pm ET.
