Mariah Carey Responds after Nick Cannon Told TI He'd Marry Her Again
Nick Cannon may never get the chance to remarry Mariah Carey if the singer's latest comments are an indication. Asked about the prospect of marrying her ex-husband again, Mariah had two things to say.
It appears that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are not on the same page when it comes to the idea of marrying each other again. While Nick admitted he would remarry Mariah in a heartbeat, the singer is keeping her options far more open than him.
“If she say we going to the moon, I'd say, 'Let's go.”

TMZ caught up with Nick’s ex-wife as she was leaving an eatery on Friday. Having learned of Nick’s recent proclamations to T.I. on the latter’s podcast, the publication thought of asking Mariah what she thought about it.
"Under no circumstances would the singer lead others to believe that Nick was her only shot at another marriage so she candidly replied..."
But before we reveal what Mariah actually said about Nick’s comments, let’s first backtrack and dissect what he said.

WHY HE WOULD AND WOULDN'T MARRY MARIAH AGAIN
According to the father-of-three, two of which are courtesy of Mariah, he considers the songbird his “dream girl,” and if given the chance to marry her again, he would. His exact words were,
“If she say we going to the moon, I'd say, 'Let's go.”
He later clarified on Ellen De Generes's show that though he has no intention of marrying again, “if he had to, I already know what that’s like; I would go back home first before I had to do it again.”
He also acknowledged that his co-parenting relationship with Mariah is “amazing” so he wouldn’t want to rock that. “It’s calm waters — let’s just keep it that way. Keep it calm.”
“I don’t wanna be responsible for nobody else’s happiness. Like, I’m still trying to figure out my [expletive]."
MARIAH'S CANDID REACTION
When asked about what she thought of Nick’s recent remarks, Mariah shrugged it off as the television host “being silly.”
But the TMZ reporter further prodded if she was okay with being single for the rest of her life. Under no circumstances would the singer lead others to believe that Nick was her only shot at another marriage so she candidly replied, “What is he? My last hope?”

WHY NICK WILL PROBABLY NEVER MARRY AGAIN
Nick and Mariah were married for six years from 2008 to 2014. While the singer has since moved on with her current constant date, Bryan Tanaka after a botched engagement with Australian billionaire James Packer, Nick has yet to find himself in a committed relationship. However, he highly doubts he'll ever be in one.
“I know I’ll never be in a relationship again. I know I’ll never be married again,” he admits to TI explaining that he doesn’t want to have to answer to anyone.
“I don’t wanna be responsible for nobody else’s happiness. Like, I’m still trying to figure out my [expletive]. I’m still trying to get my [expletive] together. And – I ain’t gon’ get to deep into this [expletive]," he honestly said.
"The fact that I have a condition…stress puts me in the hospital…and to me, all relationships equal stress. I ain’t never been in a relationship that wasn’t stressful!”

Nick did have another child with Brittany Bell in 2017 but that relationship was on and off and it fizzled even before the boy, Golden was born.
