Wendy Williams is no stranger to courting controversy and her latest remarks about Hollywood actor/comedian Nick Cannon has made her a subject of internet outrage.

Cannon stopped by recently on “The Wendy Williams Show” to talk about an array of topics, including his new show and why he defended Kevin Hart during the recent Oscars scandal.

Williams started with pleasantries and touched on the “Drumline” actor’s holiday plans. “You’re spending the holidays sleigh-riding from one house to the other,” she said, referring to the fact that Cannon has children with two women, singer Mariah Carey, and former beauty queen, Brittany Bell.

Besides a charity trip to Haiti, Cannon, 38, confirmed:

"I'm Saint Nick for real, obviously I have an extended family and I'll be visiting them in many houses over the holidays."

Williams then asked about his two children with Carey, but when she came to his son with Bell, Williams referred to the child as an “oops baby.”

Cannon took the insensitive remark in stride, clutching his chest in mock horror and yelling, “The Disrespect!” but social media users were not so forgiving.

In the comments section of the video found below, viewers dragged the talk show host for her insensitivity and rudeness.

“Wow Wendy Williams gets ruder each season and sadly it’s always usually against her OWN PEOPLE!! Gotta love America where being a black person is looked badly upon basically through your OWN!!” ~ DanYiel Teflon

“I usually enjoy her show because it's funny at times, but this is a little much. She's awfully disrespectful. You do not call a living human being an "Oops" anything, Miss Wendy. How distasteful and extremely rude. Especially for a guest to be treated this way. Somebody teach this woman some manners on how to treat guests. Shame on you, Wendy Williams.” ~ Ali Chaabane

After parting ways with ex-wife Carey in 2014, Cannon reportedly began dating Bell, and they welcomed their son, Golden, in February 2017.

The “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” alum and the former Miss Arizona USA threw a Golden Safari-themed birthday party for their son earlier this year and Cannon’s older children, Monroe, and her twin brother Moroccan, were there.

Cannon has previously revealed that his three children share a close bond. “It’s cool to see 7-year-olds approaching a 1½-year-old and how they’re taking on that big brother and sister role,” he raved in a recent interview.
