Carrie Underwood Forgot to Thank Her Family While Accepting CMT Artist of the Year Award
Country singer Carrie Underwood was so happy when she received the Artist of the Year award that she forgot to mention some significant names during her thanksgiving speech.
The country singer received the award on stage in Cleveland, and it seemed like she was at a loss for words as she was presented the award. Underwood was so spooked that she forgot to thank her family during the award show.

UNDERWOOD RECOGNIZED HER FAMILY IN A LATER SPEECH
A Twitter user shared Underwood's speech during her concert in Ohio as she composed a well thought and heartfelt message to her family.
"I had more things to say in my acceptance speech; it just went out the window. I didn't even thank my family. They're pretty important in my life and my work," she said.
She however continued that,
"I have them all out on the road with me – my three boys, my husband and our two little guys. It's been a good year. I'm gonna say all the things I didn't say a couple minutes ago."

Underwood then performed two tracks, "Two Black Cadillacs" and "Blown Away," for the CMT Artists of the Year audience in Nashville, Tenn.
MIKE FISHER COMMENDS HIS WIFE IN AN INSTAGRAM POST
Carrie's husband, Mike Fisher, however, did not mind that his wife did not mention his name during her speech. He went ahead to praise her for her hard work in a post that he shared on his Instagram page.

"If I had a dollar every time someone on tour said 'I don't know how she does it' I'd be rich," Fisher posted on Instagram, along with a video of Underwood singing "Cry Pretty."
"I wish everyone could see how she does it! She still gets up a couple times a night with Jacob. Wakes up and makes sure everyone is fed, then works out for 90 minutes (a workout much harder then mine). Then gets ready for the show with sound check etc.
The doting husband continued his message by commending his wife and superwoman's efforts towards the family and also how she has made everything looks so easy.
"It really is amazing how she does it all," he continued. "Hard work is more important than talent in everything and she has loads of both but the short answer of how she does it is that God's given her a crazy voice and determination (and energy)"
Underwood is clearly one wonder woman, and from the look of things, her family is one of the huge reasons why it's all possible.
