He has a reputation for being one of the toughest men in rap today, but Snoop is also very much a family man and showed that side of himself recently.

On Sunday, Snoop (birth name Calvin Broadus Jr.) turned 48, and his family members made sure to mark the occasion. His last child, daughter Cori, shared several images of her rapper dad on Instagram.

Still To Come: Cori’s Lupus is now properly managed, and the young lady is thriving as a budding R&B artist

One of the photos showed Snoop and Cori at what looked like a radio interview while others are of the 20-year-old hanging out with her dad at various periods of her life.

Cori’s caption was more than enough proof that she is indeed a daddy’s girl:

"Happy Birthday to the best daddy in the world! You’re such a great person. If I’m having a bad day, you can turn it into a good day within seconds!! And that’s soo dope! Don’t ever change; blessings will always come yo way. & Thank you for being here for me thru this life [expletive], I know I can count on you any day."

"You deserve the world, and I wish I could give you that," she added. "Imma always be yo number 1 girl, I got yo front and yo back. Enjoy yo day today. I love you."

On her Instagram Story, Cori also shared a throwback picture of the legendary "What’s My Name?" rapper during a studio session.

Snoop showed up in the comments section of his daughter’s post, referring to Cori adoringly by his given nickname. "Love u more today than I did yesterday choc," the proud dad wrote. "In my Micheal Jackson voice, I’ll be there."

Cori is Snoop’s only daughter with his wife of 22 years, Shante Broadus. The couple also shares two sons, Corde, 25, and Cordell, 22.

Besides being the baby of the house, Cori also means a lot to her family in that it was her lupus diagnosis that helped Snoop rethink his decision to divorce Shante back in 2004.

"It’s amazing how this all turned out. We were gonna get a divorce. But we wouldn’t have gotten through it [that way]," Shante told PEOPLE of the experience. "That’s what it boiled down to. Cori’s lupus showed us we need to be together forever," Snoop added.

Cori’s Lupus is now properly managed, and the young lady is thriving as a budding R&B artist. According to The Source, last year, she released the single "New Phone, Who Dis?" and earlier this year, she had her first official performance at a Los Angeles event, per HNHH.

Meanwhile, Snoop’s birthday comes less than a month after he lost his ten-day-old grandson Kai Love, who was born to Corde and his partner Soraya.

It’s good to see the Broadus family happy again after suffering such a loss.
