Angela Bassett's Early Roles on "AHS"

Angela Bassett has been a staple at almost every "American Horror Story" season, making her debut in season 3, which was called "Coven." She portrayed Marie Laveau, a centuries-old high priestess of voodoo magic.

The next year, she starred as Desiree Dupree on "American Horror Story: Freak Show." Desiree was a member of Elsa's Freak Show, where Desiree was a "three-breasted woman."

In season 5, Bassett portrayed Ramona Royale, a former movie star and ex-lover of The Countess, who is the bloodsucking owner of Hotel Cortez.

Meanwhile, on season 6, she had two different roles, the first as Lee Harris through a reenactment for the series "My Roanoke Nightmare." She then played Monet Tumusiime, the actress who played Lee for the reenactment.

Becoming a Guest Role

After taking a break from "AHS" in season 7, she returned for a guest role in season 8 by reprising her role as Marie Laveau. However, her role stayed as a guest role because she was still "living in her own personal hell" as explained during the third season.

With "AHS" celebrating its 100th episode, it comes with no surprise that Angela Bassett made sure to attend its celebration, as she's had quite the journey with her series family.

Celebrating Life's Milestones

Aside from celebrating with the rest of the "American Horror Story" crew, Angela also celebrated life with her husband of 22 years, dancing the night away in a fun clip that she shared with her fans.

Proving that even after two decades of marriage you can still enjoy everyday celebrations with your husband, she shared a video clip of herself dancing with Courtney B. Vance.

Her Secret to a Vibrant Life

Checking up on her fans, Angela asked her fans if they were "good," saying that she definitely is all thanks to her husband who had her dancing all night.

"Hey Everybody you good? You KNOW I'm good! My boo [Courtney B. Vance] had me dancing ALL. NIGHT. LONG!"

With such a happy marriage, it comes with no surprise that Angela Bassett seems to be aging backward, and that translates into a lot of energy to put into all the projects she's been given in the past couple of years.
