Gabrielle Union and Tracee Ellis Ross are not only two of the most phenomenal actresses, but they are also friends who were born on the same day in 1972. The similarities do not end there, however.

Union and Ross turned 47 on October 29 and paid tribute to each other with the same photo. The snapshot featured both ladies matching in white outfits at an event.

Ross and Union appeared to have been laughing at a joke while the former’s brother, Evan Ross, looked unimpressed in the background. Union played on that in the caption.

"Happy Birthday to my girl who always gets my jokes and always down for the antics!" she wrote. "Clearly, here me and @traceeellisross are [laughing], and @realevanross does not see the humor on our shenanigans. Lmao, Love you, lady."

The daughter of the legendary Diana Ross shared the same image with the caption:

"Happy Birthday the vibrant, gorgeous, hilarious @gabunion oh how I love being your birthday twin. This is 47 and it looks so good on you. You are the one person who can get me to turn up and thank goodness ‘cause otherwise, I am at home! Love you lady!"

If you need any more proof that Ross and Union are much more than birthday twins, we’ve outlined ten below:

1. They Have Fun Personalities; Peep Their Instagram

Between them, Union and Ross have over 21 million followers, and it’s not because their feeds are boring.

The "L.A’s Finest" star is known for her social media shenanigans that often include her husband Dwyane Wade or funny videos of their daughter Kaavia James.

The "Black-ish" leading lady also loves to dance and make funny videos. You can catch her getting down to it now and then with her co-stars.

2. They "Bring It On" With Costumes

Union recently had fans doing a double-take when she paid tribute to her "Bring It On" character with the iconic Clovers cheerleading uniform.

We later found out the costume was for her early birthday party, where one of the many guests was… you guessed right, Ross, dressed in her DJ Quik costume, complete with a drawn-on mustache.

3. They Win the Red Carpets Effortlessly

ESSENCE did a profile of Union and Ross at events over the years, and we can’t help agreeing that these ladies know a good outfit when they see one. From the 2006 Golden Globes after-party to 2017’s Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards, the birthday twins have been bringing the heat for years.

4. They’re the Epitome of "Black Don’t Crack"

Do we even have to explain this? The pictures do enough talking.

5. They Let Us In on the Secret to Their Agelessness

Union doesn't mind sharing the key to their fountain of youth. After fans asked for her secret, the "Breaking In" star tweeted: "Water, tequila, boundaries & an extra helping of accountability."

Ross also opened up about how she gets to look like she does in a birthday post of filter-and-retouch-free photos:

"I’m 47 today and I’m filled with gratitude. I LOVE getting older and I LOVE my life. I’m so grateful to be living this life I’m in. I’ve worked so hard to feel good in my skin and to build a life that truly matches me and I’m in it and it feels good. I remain curious and teachable and so it will all keep getting better."

6. They’re Fitness Buffs and Enjoy Working Out Together

In addition to the above, we’ll like to think Union and Ross’s love for workouts is one of the reasons they’ve refused to age. Union has an entire Instagram Story highlight documenting her workouts while Ross also regularly shares footage from her sessions.

And let’s not forget that one time in January when they flexed abs in their gym wear with fellow ageless beauty Mary J. Blige.

7. Their Vacation Game is on Point

Union and Ross both seem to enjoy jetting off to other parts of the world for relaxation, whether it’s a solo trip or with family.

8. They Offer Some of the Best Selfies From Hollywood

Union knows how to make her fans drool with those famous bikini selfies. Ross is the Hollywood selfie queen who showcased her skills by shooting her images for Glamour Magazine’s October 2019 digital cover story.

9. They’ve Both Played Two of Our Favorite Strong-and-Flawed Black Characters

For eight years, Ross won our hearts (and sometimes had us fuming) as Joan Clayton on the hit UPN/CW series "Girlfriends." From 2013 to 2019, Union also kept us on the edge of our seats as the title character in BET’s "Being Mary Jane."

10. They Both Love Their Families

Ross can always be found gushing over her parents, Diana and Robert Ellis Silberstein, or any one of her many siblings, nephews, and nieces. Union welcomed her first daughter via surrogacy last November but has always been a doting mom to her husband’s children from previous relationships.

With so many similarities, why won’t these Scorpio queens be best friends? Happy birthday, Tracee Ellis Ross and Gabrielle Union.
