Shannade Clermont of 'Bad Girls Club' Expresses Gratitude to Fans for Their Support as She Serves Prison Sentence

Shannade Clermont thanks fans for supporting her after turning herself in to the authorities and detoxifying in prison.

Shannade Clermont made her fans adore her more after doing the right thing and turning herself in to the police for prostitution and committing fraud.

The “Bad Girls Club” star recently gave an update of her life while serving a 1-year sentence at the Dublin Federal Correctional Institute, which she called a “detox.”

She wrote:

“This has been such a detox for me and Im still learning so much about myself as a person and using this time to really better myself.”

Clermont also took the opportunity to thank her loyal and supportive family, friends, and fans through this challenging journey she chose to do for herself.

She adds:

“This journey hasnt been easy but I’m thankful to know that I’m going on my 6th month and soon it will just be another chapter to my story.”

She also empowered and inspired those who, like her, have done wrong things by saying that their mistakes “doesn’t define you as a person,” and is a chance to be better.

Clermont wrote:

“Don’t let anyone tell you who you are, God will tell you and thats the only person that matters through it all. I take this all as a lesson and blessing because I know something better will come out of it all whatever it may be.”

The photos that came alongside the reality star’s update was of her in an all-gray ensemble with a blurred background. Many fans and followers of the 24-year-old showed love through the comments section.

Clermont admitted to illegally using the credit card of a man who already passed away, who she went out on a date with before.

The television personality spent over $20,000 on luxury items, rent, and other expenses of her own. She turned herself in and begged the court for forgiveness in June.

Despite her time off-cam and behind bars, Clermont’s twin sister, Shannon, is still working to keep their brand known through social media and appearances in events.

The twins were part of the reality television show “Bad Girls Club,” which used to star Tanisha Thomas, Natalie Nunn, Jesse Jane, and Amber Lynn.
