DJ Khaled Appears Alongside Will Smith in New 'Bad Boys for Life' Trailer
Two decades after the first “Bad Boys” film premiered, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for one final mission on “Bad Boys For Life,” and they have good company.
The new trailer of the film gave us a glimpse at the new cast, including Vanessa Hudgens and DJ Khaled.

The third installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise will have cops Marcus Burnet (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowery (Will Smith) reuniting one last time for an action-packed film where they’ll blow up some buildings and helicopters.
Sony Pictures recently released a new trailer for the film, and we get to see part of the original cast that will be joining the bad boys on the screen.

Among them, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Charles Melton appear as part of a modern, highly specialized police unit that will clash with Burnett and Lowery.
There’s also Mexican actresses Kate del Castillo and Paola Nuñez, who will be giving life to Rita, the head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend.
But the new addition fans of the franchise are excited to see is DJ Khaled, who made his first appearance on the new trailer while being violently shoved by Smith and smashed against a metal counter.
The music producer’s involvement in the film was first announced last January without further details about his character.
Khaled shared a pic from the film set to Instagram, and added in his caption:
“Blessed to announce that I will be joining @willsmith and @Martinlawrence in the cast of @badboys #BadBoysForLife movie! Salute @fallahbilall @adilelarbi. May I remind you, it’s only Jan 15th, 2019. Y’all have no idea what’s coming. I’m coming for the Oscars!! God Is The Greatest!!!”
Then in March, Smith gave fans a glimpse into Khaled’s role while filming a vlog for his YouTube channel from the set of “Bad Boys” in Atlanta.
The former “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” was seen hanging out with Khaled while getting ready to film, and he explained that the “No Brainer” star would be playing Manny The Butcher.
“Mike Lowrey [Will’s character] roll up on him tomorrow,” Smith says in the video.
It seems like the Butcher’s fate on the film is not so bright, because Smith shared a snippet of Khaled screaming in pain while pleading: “My pinky man.”
The film, currently in post-production, is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, best known for their work on the crime drama “Black” and FX series “Snowfall.”
“Bad Boys for Life” will hit theaters on January 17, 2020.
