Loretta Lynn Shares Backstage Photo with Pink, Praising CMA Awards Winners

Country music legend Loretta Lynn enjoyed a rare night out recently. She attended the 2019 Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on November 13, 2019.

The eighty-seven-year-old singer is also a proud mum whose twin daughters followed her footsteps and create the country music duo, The Lynns. Loretta stepped out this year to enjoy the CMAs.

The singer sat in the front row of the show. She also ventured backstage during the awards show and brushed shoulders with some of the performers and award winners. She revealed that she "loved sitting front and center at the CMAs.”

Loretta later took to Instagram to share a sweet picture of her own from the night. She took to the caption to write:

"I loved being backstage at @cma Awards today (here with @pink ) and loved the amazing show everyone put on tonight! I’m so proud of @garthbrooks and all the winners. @dollyparton and the girls sure rocked that stage! What a night! #cmaawards"

In the sweet picture that was taken backstage, the singer smiled happily at the camera with Pik. In an interview with US Weekly, Loretta said:

“I was so proud of all of the artists. I know what it’s like to sit there hoping they call your name out for an award.”

Fans flooded the post with love and adoration for both Loretta and Pink. Many also took to the comments to express their excitement about seeing Loretta out. One wrote:

"Loretta when I saw you in the audience, I was so excited, I jumped onto Facebook to let my friends know I'm your #1 fan for decades!! You look lovely."

Loretta thoroughly enjoyed the night and was “especially proud” of Garth Brooks. He who won the night’s highest honor as Entertainer of the Year. She said:

“I just love him so much.”

The “Coal Miner’s Daughter” singer was also extremely proud to see Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire, hosting the 53rd annual ceremony saying:

“I thought all the girls rocked the stage last night in their salute to women in country music. I saw so many friends and was practically up all night! I had a blast.”
