“We’ve been married, given birth, raised families, gotten divorced, experienced death and everything in between-together,” Kimora shared in a post following Kim’s funeral. She vowed to take care of the children Kim left behind.

“Every time I get sad I look at this video and it brings a smile to my face."

DIDDY'S HEARTBREAK

Kim’s three children are courtesy of Diddy who was in shock when he first learned of her death. They were together for 13 years and in spite of their break up, they remained good friends. Diddy described Kim as his soul mate.

To honor her on her first death anniversary, Diddy posted a photo of a broken heart with a simple caption that read, “KP.” He also shared a clip of Kim playing the piano and reflected

“Every time I get sad I look at this video and it brings a smile to my face."

"I WISH YOU WERE HERE WITH US RIGHT NOW AND THIS WAS ALL A DREAM. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON THAT WISH. NEVER!!!" he vowed.

Diddy recalled in May the last words Kim told him before she died. She was sick with the flu and sent over their kids to him so they wouldn’t get sick. During a phone call when the rapper was checking up on Kim, she told him to take care of the kids. That was the last time they spoke.

Diddy has since made it his priority to be there for their children including Kim's son from a previous relationship.
