Monday Night saw five contestants return to battle for a place on the finale of DWTS. At the end of the night, James Van Der Beek, with a total score of 51/60 from two dance performances with his pro partner, Emma Slater, ended up at the bottom two, with Ally Brooke.

The judges, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, chose to save Ally, and James got eliminated. The decision did not sit well with the fans who had the "Dawson's Creek" star pegged for the win, and they wasted no time venting their anger on Twitter.

One person tweeted,

"DWTS is so rigged. Look at how the judges made sure James was [in] the bottom… He should have won the season. Doubt I will watch the finals."

A fan, calling the elimination outrageous tweeted that Ally and fellow contestant Lauren Alaina did not deserve the score they got, and the judges did James, "Dirty." Another wrote,

"What a beautiful and emotional dance from James and Emma, and what [expletive] score from the judges. I was shocked."

Theresa R. tweeted alongside a GIF asking, "Is that a joke?" that the actor has never been at the bottom, calling him her favorite all season, while Cynthia Gines, wrote that the judges intentionally underscored James. ShaSha tweeted,

"Omg! I can't stop crying."

Another fan asked what is wrong with the judges, suggesting that they all get eye exams, and Lisa tweeted,

"Emotional and heart-wrenching. James, you deserved to be in the finale. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family."

Aside from losing the night, James shared before the competition kicked off that he and his wife, Kimberly, lost over the weekend, the sixth child they were expecting.

In a Twitter post, he said they felt wrecked, devastated, and shocked, but thanked his fans for their constant prayer, and support.
