Us Weekly: Miley Cyrus Reportedly Got Pet Pig after Divorcing Liam Hemsworth and Singer HER Named It Peppa

This summer, musician and actress Miley Cyrus, 26, had a number of losses. Her relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth, 29, ended and she lost a pet too.

In July, the star took to social media to reveal the news that she’d lost her pet pig. She captioned an Instagram Story photo of herself and her pig Bubba Sue writing:

“Very sad to say … my dear friend Pig Pig has passed away. I will miss u always. Thank you for so many laughs and good times girl.”

H.E.R. REVEALS CYRUS GOT ANOTHER PIG

Cyrus affectionately called Bubba Sue Pig Pig. Speaking to Us Weekly recently, singer-songwriter H.E.R., 22, revealed that the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer had found a way to heal from the loss of her pet and the end of her marriage.

Speaking at the BET Soul Train Music Awards on Saturday, the singer shared:

“The last time we talked, she [Miley Cyrus] was telling me about her pig that she owns now. I thought that was the most interesting thing.”

The Grammy winner, whose real name is Gabriella Wilson added: “I named it, actually … Peppa. Like the cartoon, Peppa Pig.”

WHEN DID CYRUS AND HEMSWORTH MARRY

Cyrus married Hemsworth in December 2018, only to separate eight months later. The couple was co-stars on “The Last Song.”

CYRUS’ DIVORCE FROM HEMSWORTH

When the separation was first announced in August 2019, Cyrus’ representative gave a statement to Us Weekly stating:

“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.”

As part of the divorce proceedings, the musician was given custody of all of the couple’s animals. The two had shared seven dogs, two mini horses, two regular-sized horses, and three cats.

WHAT MIGHT’VE CAUSED THE DIVORCE

A few days after the couple announced their separation; photos of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter became public knowledge. At the time, Carter had also recently separated from her husband Brody Jenner.

She took to Instagram to post images of her and Cyrus vacationing in Lake Como, Italy. Things became worse when party-goers at a club claimed the pair was all over each other during a night out.

One source even went as far as claiming that they were “basically having sex.” However, the musician denied any claims of cheating with a public statement on social media.

Cyrus was recently linked to Cody Simpson and Hemsworth appeared to have moved on with Maddison Brown.
