Ray J Breaks Silence after Princess Love Accused Him of Leaving Her & Their Daughter Melody Stranded in Las Vegas after BET Soul Train Awards
Ray J has shared his side of the story after following his wife Princess Love's allegation that the reality star/entrepreneur left her and their one-year-old daughter Melody stranded in Las Vegas.
Fans were invited into the Norwood family earlier this week, but it wasn't for the best reasons. Princess publicly blasted her hubby for leaving her and Melody behind at the BET Soul Train Awards.

Considering that Ray (birth name Raymond Norwood Jr.) is the younger brother of Grammy-winning singer Brandy while he and Princess also appear on "Love & Hip Hop," the claims drew a lot of attention.
After alleging earlier this week that Ray left her and Melody stranded, Princess further claimed he blocked her on Instagram... Princess shared a screenshot of her husband’s blank profile
Ray, 38, finally took to Instagram on Thursday to put the speculations out there to rest. In an almost two-minute video, the Raycon tech boss flat out denied Princess's allegations.
Ray began:
"This is for all the media outlets out there that’s putting out these stories about me. Let me explain something to y’all because I don’t think y’all understand who I really am. I am my family. I love my family. I’ve dedicated my life to my family. To insinuate that I would do anything to harm my daughter is just sad."
"I’m at the sky loft right now, as you can see," he continued, panning the camera to capture his surroundings. "I just don’t understand how somebody can get stranded if we never left. We’ve been right here."
Ray went on to imply that he and Princess did get into an argument but rebuked her for distorting the narrative via social media.
"To take this to social media and create this crazy story about me leaving my baby in harm’s way is not cool," he said. "Our circle needs to be tight like that, and nobody should be able to get in."
"To be solid in a relationship, you have to keep people out of it and let God work it out," Ray added in the caption. "But this hasn’t been the case. I will continue being the best man and father I can be no matter what’s on the other side."
After alleging earlier this week that Ray left her and Melody stranded, Princess further claimed he blocked her on Instagram.
In a since-deleted post on the platform, Princess shared a screenshot of her husband’s blank profile with the caption: "Somebody tell Scooty boy he’s only hurting himself. This is so funny to me."
The reality star later posted a cryptic tweet that seemed to imply she was done with the relationship. "Time to let go," she wrote on Twitter.
Ray J and Princess were married in 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Melody, last year. The feuding couple is also expecting a son in a matter of weeks, and hopefully, they can come together to work this out, away from social media.
