Kandi Burruss' Daughter Riley Flashes Sweet Smile as She Cradles Newborn Baby Sister Blaze Tucker in Photo

Kandi Burruss' daughter, Riley, is one proud big sister as she cradles the family's latest addition in a new Instagram snap. Like everybody else, the teenager seems to be in love with baby Blaze Tucker.

Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, welcomed their daughter last week, and the reality star's older daughter from a previous relationship does not appear to mind the big sister duties.

In a new photo posted to Instagram, Riley lovingly cradled baby Blaze, whose face is yet to be revealed. The 17-year-old quoted her sister's name in the caption, alongside a red heart and blazing emoji.

"I just feel like this whole situation is strange. I don't get to be excited about the first kick. I don't get to be excited about, 'Oh now my baby bump is showing.'"

Kandi and Todd's new baby arrived via surrogacy on Friday, November 22. According to Hollywood Life, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's first announcement was via a mass text message to friends and family.

"She’s here! Blaze Tucker born at 6:54 p.m. on 11-22-19 weighing 8 lbs, 1 oz." Kandi reportedly shared in the text. "I'm so thankful to add another healthy, beautiful baby girl to the family!"

The businesswoman later shared an adorable photo of the newborn via Instagram, writing:

"Our little angel is doing well! She was born yesterday 11-22-19 at 6:54 pm. 8lbs & 1oz! Her name is Blaze Tucker. Thank you to everyone for the love & well wishes! She’s gonna Blaze a path to greatness! @blazetucker is our newest heartbeat."

Kandi has been open about her and Todd's decision to turn to surrogacy after a high-risk pregnancy with their three-year-old son Ace. Todd also has a 22-year-old daughter, Kaela, from a previous relationship.

During season 11 of RHOA, viewers saw Kandi, 43, and Todd, 46, debate the pros and cons of surrogacy. The couple eventually agreed to take the option after meeting a potential candidate named Shadina.

Kandi and Todd's surrogacy journey with Shadina is chronicled on the current season of the hit Bravo reality series.

Per PEOPLE, Kandi even revealed during the show premiere earlier this month that her surrogate was pregnant with twins, but sadly, they lost one.

"We actually were supposed to be having twins, and then one of them didn’t continue," she revealed. "I was sad at first, but then I just had to be grateful that the one made it."

Kandi also opened up about the bittersweet experience of having another woman carry her child:

"I just feel like this whole situation is strange. I don't get to be excited about the first kick. I don't get to be excited about, 'Oh now my baby bump is showing.' I don’t get to be excited even about my boobs filling up with milk."

"You have this guilt [and] sadness, so it’s a joyous, yet interesting experience," Kandi added. Now that baby Blaze is here, something tells us the Xscape singer will be overflowing with love and joy, leaving no time to dwell on any sadness.
