Carrie Underwood Dazzles in Sparkly Purple Gown with Thigh-High Slit and Rose Gold Heels on the 2019 AMAs Red Carpet
Carrie Underwood stunned on the red carpet Sunday night when she wore a hot purple dress that highlighted her queenly looks. The piece also fell perfectly in line with her accomplishments that night.
Underwood, 36, showed up and showed out at the American Music Awards in a gorgeous sequined gown, which put together several elements that worked together beautifully.
The "Cry Pretty" singer is known for her fashion-forward looks, and once again, she didn't disappoint fans with her selection. The photos are found below.
Underwood's glittery dress featured a one-shoulder cape train — the other side was sleeveless. Below that, she had a very high slit that showed off her toned leg.
The dress came down with a low V-cut at her neck and the material fell loosely past her feet. She wore a pair of open-toed metallic gold heels to complete the ensemble.

According to People, Underwood's gold accessories were designed by Yvan Tufenkjian. She wore a necklace, earrings, and some rings. She also wore a Maxior purple ring.
To finish off, the singer wore her hair in a sleek behind-the-ears style. For makeup, she went with a nude lip and brown eyeshadow that made her eyes looked brilliant.

In the caption she wrote:
"Tonight was a dream! Thank you, fans, for voting...and for the love and support that you CONSTANTLY give!"
Underwood is married to professional ice hockey player Mike Fisher. She was not only a winner on the red carpet, but she also won big during the award show.
She beat out Dan + Shay and Kane Brown to win the Favorite Country Album of the Year Award, as well as the Favorite Country Singer — Female award.
The awards were Underwood's 14th and 15th at the AMAs. The accomplishments follow her hosting gig at the Country Music Awards just last week alongside Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.

Underwood performed three times for that event and made even more wardrobe changes. Arguably though, her best number was the sheer gold gown she wore on the red carpet ahead of the show.
She accentuated the show-stopper dress, designed by Elie Madi, with a pair of orange Jared Lehr designer earrings. Complete with some natural makeup, the star indeed showed her top-notch sense of style.
