Ciara and Megan Thee Stallion Have Twerk Session to the Singer's New Song 'Melanin'

Ciara and rapper Megan Thee Stallion turned on the heat last week ahead of the American Music Awards on Sunday with an intense twerking session, and fans can’t stop gushing about the pair.

Last Thursday, Ciara had some time after attending the AMA’s red carpet rollout ceremony. And while she kept things PG-rated for the cameras at the front, once in the backstage, the “Level Up” songstress had a bit more fun.

STRONG KNEES GAME

The 34-year-old met with rapper Megan Thee Stallion, 24, who made an appearance at the awards as a presenter.

The gorgeous pair had time to catch up and come up with the perfect idea to leave their fans gasping in surprise: a twerking session.

In a clip shared on both stars’ Instagram accounts, Ciara donned a sequined silver gown with a thigh-high split and silver heels; and Megan rocked an emerald green leotard with matching gloves and nude heels.

The women started by walking to the camera to the rhythm of Ciara’s new single, “Melanin,” before turning around and dropping low for a twerking session.

Proving how muscular their thighs are, the women stayed low for a few minutes, showing off their exceptional dancing skills and resistance.

“Linked up with my Melanin Queen @TheeStallion #Melanin Paahpin! #StrongKneeGame,” Ciara captioned her clip.

While Megan shared the same clip but taken from a bit of a different angle, and added: “Team long legs,” in her caption.

Fans and friends of the pair flocked to their comment section to express their admiration and gush about how good it is to see women of color supporting each other in the industry.

“And they stood up easily!!! First of all, my knees never would’ve made it on the first squat to attempt to do the damn thang,” wrote one impressed fan.

And another pointed out,

MEGAN BONDS WITH FUTURE

Once the twerking session was over, Megan and Ciara shared another adorable moment that included the singer’s son, Future Zahir.

In a clip shared by an onlooker, Megan can be seen playfully lifting Future and spinning around while yelling, “He’s mine now!” as he tries to escape.

Then, as Ciara gets closer to “save” the boy, Megan ran away, but soon after the dotting, mom was able to pick up the boy again.

Recalling the cute moment while talking to Access at the red AMA’s red carpet on Sunday, Stallion said that Future wanted to meet her, but once she got closer, he got too shy.

That’s why she picked him up. “He’s so sweet,” the rapper said.
