Six stars from the 1990s’ American soap opera, "Melrose Place," joined the series' reunion at a dinner meeting for an upcoming interview.

A group of actors from the Fox drama series "Melrose Place," namely Laura Leighton, Doug Savant, Andrew Shue, Josie Bissett, Courtney Thorne-Smith, and Daphne Zuniga, reunited at the Polo Bar in New York City this week.

Daphne Zuniga who played the role of Jo Reynolds in the show, shared a selfie of the longtime pals on Instagram, expressing her happiness at being together.

The actors seem to be in town to shoot an upcoming interview on "Good Morning America". According to Bissett's post on Instagram, the interview will air next month.

The ABC News presenter, Amy Robach, who is married to Sue, the actor of Billy Campbell's role in the series, also posted a photo of herself with the cast group on Instagram.

"I’m joining the #melroseplace reunion.... Or I just pushed my way into the middle of a shoot for @strahansarakeke ?"

The American prime time television series which was created by Darren Starr premiered on Fox in the summer of 1992 and ran for seven seasons for the next seven years.

"Melrose Place" was based on the lives of a group of young neighbors living in an apartment complex named "Melrose Place" in California, although the real "Melrose Place" isn't located there. The series has a rating of 5.8 out of 10 on IMDB.

But Locklear’s personal life went through bad experiences when she was arrested in February 2018 on suspicion of felony domestic violence and battery on a police officer.

Some interesting facts exist about the series which might fascinate many fans. Bissett, who played the nice girl Jane Mancini, once said that she hated to have a positive role and just wanted to be as bad as everyone else!

Also, many of the members had a relationship with each other in real life. Thorne and Shue dated during the first season, while Leighton and Grant Show hooked up together. In the end, Savant married Leighton, and he described his satisfaction with the marriage in this way:

"We were friends on the set, but then it became, ‘Oh my God, this person I think is so perfect is right here.' The best thing that happened to me as a result of Melrose was meeting my wife.”
