'Melrose Place' Actors Reunite in Sweet Rare Photo before Their Interview on 'Strahan, Sara and Keke'
Six stars from the 1990s’ American soap opera, "Melrose Place," joined the series' reunion at a dinner meeting for an upcoming interview.
A group of actors from the Fox drama series "Melrose Place," namely Laura Leighton, Doug Savant, Andrew Shue, Josie Bissett, Courtney Thorne-Smith, and Daphne Zuniga, reunited at the Polo Bar in New York City this week.
Daphne Zuniga who played the role of Jo Reynolds in the show, shared a selfie of the longtime pals on Instagram, expressing her happiness at being together.
The actors seem to be in town to shoot an upcoming interview on "Good Morning America". According to Bissett's post on Instagram, the interview will air next month.
The ABC News presenter, Amy Robach, who is married to Sue, the actor of Billy Campbell's role in the series, also posted a photo of herself with the cast group on Instagram.
"I’m joining the #melroseplace reunion.... Or I just pushed my way into the middle of a shoot for @strahansarakeke ?"
The American prime time television series which was created by Darren Starr premiered on Fox in the summer of 1992 and ran for seven seasons for the next seven years.

Some interesting facts exist about the series which might fascinate many fans. Bissett, who played the nice girl Jane Mancini, once said that she hated to have a positive role and just wanted to be as bad as everyone else!
Also, many of the members had a relationship with each other in real life. Thorne and Shue dated during the first season, while Leighton and Grant Show hooked up together. In the end, Savant married Leighton, and he described his satisfaction with the marriage in this way:
"We were friends on the set, but then it became, ‘Oh my God, this person I think is so perfect is right here.' The best thing that happened to me as a result of Melrose was meeting my wife.”

Other members of the casting team have also achieved fame and success in different movies and series since then. Lisa Rinna who joined the series in season 5 as Taylor McBride, is currently a major player on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The actor of the Jake Hanson, Grant Show, has recently signed on to play Blake Carrington in the "Dynasty" reboot. Thorne-Smith continued her profession on "Ally McBeal" and found consistent work on "According to Jim" and "Two and a Half Men."
Heather Locklear, played advertising executive Amanda Woodward, a character that would go on to land on endless “Best TV Villains” lists, and she considers that as an advancement in her career.
