The post came months after “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” as he is fondly referred to, revealed the promise he made to his late wife to PEOPLE. According to to the publication, the reality TV star’s wife gave him permission to date but not to marry any woman.

Duane went on to explain that his agreement with Beth made it okay for him to return to the dating scene in the future.

In the meantime, however, the “Dog’s Most Wanted” star has taken solace in being around family, friends, and music. During another interview with PEOPLE, Duane revealed that there were still things he missed about Beth.

The 66-year-old recalled a particular moment when Beth had told him he was “incredible” – a compliment that caught him off guard as she rarely praised him.

Duane then implored fans never to forget Beth as he considered her the “greatest bounty hunter in the world.”

Until her death, Beth had hunted down fugitives with her husband on “Dog the Bounty Hunter” from 2004-2012 and “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” from 2013-2015. As Variety reported, the mother-of-four died after she was placed in a medically induced coma.

The coma came after a long fight with throat cancer, which became public news in 2017. Earlier this month, Pop Culture reported that Duane posted a picture that caused his fans to worry.

The post, which was initially shared by Beth, showed Duane sitting outdoors on a short stone wall as he rocked a gray and black sweatpants and a white tank top.

According to Variety, fans asked the reality star remain strong for not only himself but also for his family.
