Gwen Stefani Stunned in Tight Sequin Dress as She Posed with Contestant Rose Short Ahead of 'The Voice' Finale
Gwen Stefani showed off her curves in a tight sequin dress in a new photo shared via Instagram as she showered praise on star contestant Rose Short.
In the weeks leading to "The Voice" finale, coach and singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani has taken to sharing several photos and videos from the current season of the hit talent show.
In light of that, Inquisitr reported that Gwen shared a brand-new image yesterday ahead of the show's December 17 finale. In the snap, the "Sweet Escape" crooner was seen rocking a tight sequin dress as she posed beside her team member, Rose Short.
Gwen's dress which stopped just before her knee hugged her body and highlighted her curves. Rose, on her part, opted for a black jacket with a leopard pattern that ran down its sides.
The show's contestant complemented her look with a red lipstick color that almost matched Gwen's, while her long, dark hair was styled in a straight bob. Behind the duo appeared to be a stage lit up with several red and white neon lights.
In the accompanying caption, Gwen gushed about how proud she was of Rose making it to the finale.
When she was called upon to perform, Rose revealed that it was her struggles that had inspired her original song, "Steamroller."
The former corrections officer, who claimed to have left her "abusive" job for the show, stated:
"This is literally my life, especially when I quit my job. I had to go hard. That's how I've lived my whole life."
Soon after she performed her song, Rose and Gwen teamed up to sing "My Gift Is You" – a holiday song that Gwen had penned herself. Gwen explained to Rose that she was delighted to perform the very first Christmas song she has ever written with her (Rose).
During the performance, Daily Mail noted that Gwen joked about the engagement rumors that have followed her and her man, Blake Shelton, for a few weeks now.
As she belted out the lyrics, "I don't need money, don't need a thing, I don't even need a wedding ring," Gwen had flashed her black-gloved hand sans a ring, at the camera.
Manyshare the belief that the song was dedicated to Blake, as Gwen repeatedly sang about a "best friend" that she couldn't wait to give all her love to.
Gwen and Blake became an item in 2015 a few months after Blake divorced his then-wife, Miranda Lambert, and Gwen left singer Gavin Rossdale.
