Hoda Kotb from 'Today' Takes Selfie with Cast Members from Upcoming 'Cats' Musical Film
Hoda Kotb may not be a big fan of cats, but she sure is excited to see the musical film of the same name. She shared a lovely selfie with the female "Cats" cast members, and the five women looked absolutely gorgeous.
Hoda Kotb, 55, took to Instagram on Tuesday to treat fans to an adorable selfie photo of the female cast members of the upcoming film, "Cats."
The movie is based on the highly popular Broadway musical of the same name. In her photo, Kotb showcased the highly talented women that are part of the film. Her post is found below.

From broadway to the big screen
Director Tom Hooper will help bring to life the movie about a group of cats called the Jellicles who have to determine who will ascend to a place called the Heaviside Layer.
Actors Idris Elba, Ian McKellen, James Corden, and singer Jason Derulo are all part of the production. The four beautiful women that Kotb shared a photo with also join them.
Best all-female "Cats" selfie
In the picture, Kotb kneeled on the floor and held up her phone. Behind her, Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, and Francesca Hayward sat from left to right.
"Ready for CATS!" the "Today Show" host wrote in her caption. She tagged all the women captured in the shot. Followers filled the comment section with praises for the five stunning ladies.
Kotb is not a cat person
Kotb's excitement may be genuine, but the other day she clarified that she was not the biggest fan of the "Cats" broadway show. Hosting alongside Jenna Bush Hager, the pair looked at the film's trailer.
Before they did, Kotb responded to Hager when asked if she's a fan of the broadway. Kotb stressed that she "likes" it but has never been a fan of real cats — and she's never owned one.
In contrast, the recently engaged tv-personality does have two dogs. It's fair to say she's not a cat person, but Kotb will certainly appreciate the musical film thanks to the women who are a part of it.
Kotb spreads Christmas cheer at home
Meanwhile, Kotb is fully embracing the holiday season with her two daughters and new fiancé Joel Schiffman. Last week, the Egyptian-born host did two tree lightings just for her girls.
The proud mom shared a clip of Schiffman catering to Hope Catherine, seven months, and then Haley Joy, two, by lighting their Christmas tree not once, but twice for the girls.
The daytime host previously shared a photo showing Schiffman carrying the tree from the store after their purchase. At the time, the financier was also carrying little Haley on his neck.
Kotb pushed along Hope in a stroller behind the father-daughter duo. Schiffman is also dad to a 25-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. We wonder if he's also looking forward to seeing "Cats."
