Hoda Kotb from 'Today' Posts Sweet Pics of Fiancé Joel Schiffman Carrying Daughter Haley Joy & a Small Christmas Tree
Hoda Kotb is ringing in the holiday season with a heartwarming photo of her family as they carry home their Christmas tree for this year's festivities.
Of course, the tree was admittedly a little small — but it's more about the Christmas spirit rather than the tree, right. Most importantly, though, it's about family. Her post is found below.
Joel Schiffman does it all
Kotb, 55, shared a trio of photos, all showing fiancé Joel Schiffman carrying the green tree. He was also tasked with carrying daughter Haley Joy on his shoulders.
The "Today Show" host first showed Schiffman from behind. Little Haley, two, was all covered up and turned around to watch her adopted mother.
Kotb is ready for Christmas
In the two other shots, we get a front view of Schiffman and Haley. The little girl appeared to have a colorful Christmas chain on her neck, which also fell onto Schiffman's head.
"Got ours!" Kotb captioned the post. The Instagram page for her show with Jenna Bush Hager commented, "sweetest," along with a heart-eyed emoji and a green tree.
Schiffman's daughter is supportive
Kotb and Schiffman also share daughter Hope Catherine. Schiffman, 61, also has a daughter named Kyle, 25, from a past relationship. He and the tv personality have been together since 2013.
Kyle was happy for her dad following the news of their engagement. She told Closer Weekly that "they're perfect for each other." The young woman was also thrilled to have two new stepsisters.
The perfect beachside engagement
Kotb and Schiffman are not only just right for each other, but they also had a picture-perfect engagement during a vacation getaway last month. It involved the beach and, of course, a big rock.
The pair were in Hawaii when, according to Kotb, Schiffman "said some beautiful things" before he got down on one knee and popped the question.
Kotb later made the announcement and shared a photo of the big night as she showed off her ring. Congratulations once again, Kotb, and Merry Christmas!
