After a series of failed marriages and relationships, Tyler seems to have found the one on his former assistant, Aimee Ann Preston, who happens to be 40 years younger than him. Here’s a look at their unusual relationship.

RUMORS OF THEM DATING BEGAN IN 2014

Although Tyler first employed Aimee as his assistant in 2012 but less than two years of working with him, rumors of them dating began to circulate the internet.

An insider reportedly said to Daily Mail as at then:

“They’re not exactly dating, but it’s not a strictly professional relationship either, it’s in the early stages. She has been working with him for a few years now.”

While neither party involved commented on the speculations, Heavy notes that XI17 Online published photos of the young couple in Malibu in March 2014.

IT THEN BECAME OFFICIAL

Two years after the rumors, Tyler and his younger girlfriend made things official. They made their public debut at Elton John’s annual Oscar Viewing Party for the Elton John AIDS Foundation on February 28, 2016.

Although they tried to keep things low-key at the party, a photo of them holding hands was published, therefore letting the cat of the bag.

Also, E! News revealed that Tyler and Aimee weren’t afraid to show their affection for each other inside the party.

Years after their debut, Aimee and Tyler seem to be still going strong. As revealed by the Daily Mail, the duo was spotted in June, holding hands after a lunch date at Petrossian Restaurant & Boutique in West Hollywood.

Months before their outing when Tyler celebrated his 71st birthday, Aimee celebrated him with a heartwarming post on Instagram.

She shared a throwback photo of one of their first dates that showed them enjoying some time outdoors.

According to reports, before working for Tyler, Aimee served as an assistant to President Donald Trump in the Trump Organization in New York.

Like Tyler, Aimee has had a history of failed relationships. She was previously married to Scott Shachter, a talent agent.
