Kandi Burruss from RHOA Posts 1st Close-Up Pic of 1-Month-Old Baby Daughter Blaze

Kandi Burruss has finally shared the first full picture of her one-month-old daughter, Blaze Tucker. It has been a long and sometimes painful journey to welcoming the little girl, but the reality star and her family are grateful for their "blessing."

Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, kept fans in the loop throughout their surrogacy journey, and now their fans get an early Christmas present with the first close-up photo of Miss Blaze.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star took to Instagram on Friday with the result of a photoshoot for baby Blaze. The sleeping tot was swaddled in a purple blanket while rocking a matching floral headband.

She and Todd were expecting twins, but unfortunately, they lost one of the embryos.

"Time is already flying by," Kandi, 43, exclaimed in the caption. "I can't believe my baby girl @blazetucker is already a month old! I've got another blessing to love on."

BABY BLAZE IS HERE

Kandi and Todd, 46, welcomed their second child together on November 22 with the help of a surrogate. The reality star's health condition with fibroids made it dangerous for her to carry a baby.

Blaze brings the total number of children in the Burruss-Tucker household to four. Kandi and Todd have a three-year-old son named Ace while they also have a daughter, each from previous relationships.

THE JOURNEY

Last month, Kandi first announced the birth of their daughter to close friends and fans via text message, The Daily Dish noted. The happy mom later shared the news via social media, but never posted a full picture until now.

Kandi has been very open about her surrogacy journey on the current season of RHOA. According to MadameNoire, she even once opened up about the bittersweet nature of the experience.

KANDI'S TRUTH

Kandi said via the outlet:

"I just feel like this whole situation is strange. I don't get to be excited about the first kick. I don't get to be excited about, 'Oh now my baby bump is showing.' I don’t get to be excited even about my boobs filling up with milk. You have this guilt [and] sadness. So it's a joyous, yet interesting experience."

GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING

Per PEOPLE, Kandi also revealed during an episode of RHOA that she and Todd were expecting twins, but unfortunately, they lost one of the embryos. "I just had to be grateful that the one made it," she reasoned.

Following the birth of Blaze, Kandi has been sharing shots of the little girl with members of the family. Some of those photos have been uploaded to Blaze's Instagram account, where she already has quite the following.

Via social media, Kandi has also expressed gratitude to her surrogate, Shadina Blunt, and her doctor, Jackie Walters, from "Married To Medicine." It was Jackie who introduced Kandi to Shadina.

Kandi's last pregnancy with Ace was a high-risk one, and she continues to struggle with fibroids, but thanks to surrogacy, the Burruss-Tuckers now have a new baby girl to dote on.
