Paula Deen Looks Unrecognizable with Dark Hairdo in a Throwback Snap with Her Little Sons
The television personality and cooking show host, Paula Deen, was unrecognizable in a throwback picture. The picture uploaded by the joint Facebook account of her sons.
Bobby and Jamie Deen paid a heartwarming tribute to their mother around Christmas. On December 20, the brothers uploaded a throwback picture of their family in the Christmas spirit.
Years later, the trio of mum and two sons is running a food empire and has become a household name. The trio looked just as amazing in the 2019 Christmas snap featured on Paula's Instagram.

THE CHRISTMAS THROWBACK
In the Facebook post from a week ago, a young Paula flaunted her now-iconic smile as she posed for the camera. She cradled the cute Bobby in her arms while Jamie was playing on the floor.
"We may not have had much growing up, but mom always made Christmases special for us," the brothers captioned the picture. The brothers rocked matching white and red outfits in the snap.
Recently, Pauls's Instagram gave her fans a Christmas treat through a sweet family picture. The cookbook author stood in front of a decorated Christmas tree with Bobby and Jamie on either side.
THE STRUGGLES TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL
When the "Paula's Home Cooking" star first embarked on her journey, she had a mere $200 in her name and two sons who were willing to pitch in. She started her first business, "The Bag Lady," in June 1989.
Paula prepared fresh lunches for the downtown businesses and doctor's offices in Savannah. During those days, Paula spent most of her time preparing the lunches and barbecue specials.
However, the Savannah crowd fell in love with her specials like chicken pot pies, barbecue sandwiches, lasagna, and banana puddings. Paula's cooking was the talk of the town in no time.
THE SUCCESS AND SPEEDBUMP
After the cooking business shot up, the family was finally sailing smooth. The celebrity chef found herself amidst a racial controversy concerning an employee.
Reportedly, Paula admitted to using a racial slur during a legal deposition. A former employee was suing them for sexual and racial harassment.
In reaction to the controversy, the Food Network decided not to renew their contract with the chef. Paula later admitted that she made a mistake, and inappropriate or hurtful language was "totally unacceptable" to her.
THE REBUILD
Since the incident, Paula and her sons have been hard at work to rebuild her reputation in the industry. She started maintaining direct contact with her fans through "Paula Deen Live!"
Continuing her comeback, the chef also competed on "Dancing With The Stars." She also started "Positively Paula" in 2016, tapped from her home in Savannah, Georgia.
Even today, she keeps a close eye on her restaurant, The Lady and Sons, which boasts a staggering 330 seats. The celebrity chef was seen waiting tables "undercover."
The Deens are growing in terms of business and family. Bobby and his wife, Claudia, brought adorable triplets into the world. Grandma Deen announced it on her social media that the angles were four months early.
