Kevin Hart Is All Smiles in Festive Photos With Wife and Children
Like many celebrities across the country, Kevin Hart and his family marked the holidays with a festive family photo. The comedian, who recently survived a life-threatening car crash, was all smiles as he posed with his wife and children.
Kevin, 40, has a lot to be grateful and happy for. Only three months ago, he sustained severe injuries in a terrible car crash, and now, he’s well enough to stand unaided and take Christmas photos.

In the snapshot, Kevin posed alongside his wife Eniko, their two-year-old son, Kenzo, and his kids from a previous marriage, Heaven, 14, and Hendrix, 12. All five family members wore colorful pajamas and sleep masks over their heads.
The exes got married in 2002, and while Kevin’s career picked up first, Torrei reportedly stayed back to raise their children.
“Happy Holidays from the ‘Harts.’ Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!!!” Kevin captioned the photo, which appears to have been taking in the dining room where a Christmas tree glittered.
While most families get festive around Christmas, this year’s celebration holds special significance for the Hart family. The “Jumanji” star almost died in a severe car crash that happened in September.
Kevin was involved in the accident alongside producer Jared S. Black and Rebecca Broxterman, Black’s fiancée. The actor had to undergo several surgeries as a result of a spinal fracture injury.
The life-threatening experience altered Kevin’s perception of life, something he hasn’t been shy to admit. “This ain’t got nothing to do about going to church,” he once said on his show via US Weekly.
“It’s not spiritual; spiritual is the wrong word. You’re more present, more aware. It’s all a joke until you get smacked with that real-life reality,” Kevin added, calling the experience “life-altering.”
Kevin has been getting back to his life in the last couple of weeks. Late last month, he and Eniko threw a Paw Patrol-themed birthday party for their son, Kenzo, who turned two. His older kids with ex-wife, Torrei Hart, were also present.
Torrei and Kevin met while attending a local community college in Philadelphia, per Refinery29. They bonded over their love of comedy, and both dropped out to pursue their careers in Hollywood.
The exes got married in 2002, and while Kevin’s career picked up first, Torrei reportedly stayed back to raise their children. Unfortunately, their marriage was suffering and would end in divorce eight years later.
Despite the not-too-cordial relationship that appears to exist between Kevin and Torrei, he remains a doting dad to their children. This holiday, the “Night School” star and Heaven danced to DaBaby’s “Bop.”
“We love to live & laugh in the Hart Household,” Kevin partly captioned the Instagram video. “If your energy doesn’t match ours going into 2020, then [you’re] not for us.”
