Florida Mom Alexzandria Wolliston Gave Birth to 2 Pairs of Twins in the Same Year

A Florida native had the internet agog after she was delivered of two sets of twins in a year.

A Florida native, Alexzandria Wollinston, made it to the news after her amazing multiple births. The mom-of-five had two sets of twins in the space of a year.

Although the development was shocking, Wollinston was excited about her babies. She gave birth to her first set of twins, Mark and Malakhi in March 2019. It, however, turned out Alexzandria wasn't done having babies in 2019 as the second set of twins came months later.

WOLLINSTON BELIEVES IT'S A REINCARNATION

Following the birth of her babies, Alexzandria found out that her grandmothers lost twin boys, and this led her to conclude that the babies came back to her as blessings from above. She said to WPTV,

"I feel like they just sent them down for me."

The happy mom continued:

"I always say that I feel like my grandmothers gave me their kids because two sets of twins and their twins passed away."

WOLLISTON IS PREPARED FOR MOTHERHOOD

The West Palm mom isn't new to maternity as she informed WPTV that her three-year-old first child has helped her prepare in advance.

The nursing mother also made it known that she will be sticking to five kids.

Another amazing twin birth story is that of Indiana couple, Dawn Gilliam and Jason Telo, who got their wish of having twins born on different days.

WHAT EXPERTS SAY ON SUCH MULTIPLE BIRTHS

Dr. Michael Cackovic, associate professor of maternal-fetal medicine at The Ohio State University, revealed that such occurrence was possible but rare.

The maternity expert picked the city of Igbo-ora from Nigeria as a place where such could happen, the reason being that the city is known for its highest rate of twins birth.

According to him, the use of fertility treatments, higher BMI, older maternal age, and family history are risk factors for twin pregnancies.

THE INDIANA TWINS BORN IN TWO DIFFERENT DECADES.

However, not only were their babies birthed on different days but in different years and decades!

While Baby Joslyn Grace arrived on Dec. 31, 2019, her twin brother, Jaxon DeWayne came thirty minutes into the new year. Gilliam happily confirmed to TODAY that her babies already had different personalities.

The babies have, however, remained in the hospital till their due date in February.
