Peta Murgatroyd from DWTS Shares Sweet Pics with Husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy & Their Son Shai Vacationing in The Bahamas

Looks like the "Dancing With The Stars" star Peta Murgatroyd and her family had a fun vacation at the Bahamas! The beautiful family looks amazing in the new pictures shares by Peta on her Instagram.

Peta Murgatroyd and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, took some time off their busy schedule to go on a family vacation to the Bahamas. They traveled to the beautiful holiday destination with their adorable son, Shai.

Peta gave her fans a glimpse into her family time in a series of snapshots on Instagram. The family of three looked radiant as they posed for the cameras. Maksim held little Shai on his arms as Peta huddled close to her boys in the snapshots.

SHAI'S THIRD BIRTHDAY BASH

A video of Shai baking cupcakes with his loved ones followed right after the family pictures. Shai was the center of attention because it was his third birthday and, according to Peta, it was everything that they wanted to be.

In the caption, Peta mentioned that they had a beautiful day that was complete with Shai's favorite movie "Trolls," bagels with cream cheese, and some friends and family time at the beach. Also, the little one's day was all the more special because it was the first time that Peta's parents were with him on his birthday.

A FUN CELEBRATION

Peta also shared that the kids got to bake their own cupcakes. Meanwhile, the adults were busy cooking fillet and snapper. "It was truly the best birthday as the kids LOVED being so involved and learning how to cook," the happy mother wrote.

The "DWTS" star and her husband have kept their fans up-to-date on their son's shenanigans as they document his growth on social media.

HOW PETA AND MAKSIM HIT IT OFF

Peta and Maksim welcomed their bundle of joy on January 4, 2017. The proud parents have been together for a long time now. In an interview with "Today," Peta shared the story of how her future husband approached her for a date when they first started out.

"I feel like we didn’t actually have an official first date, because ... it was funny, I was just a bit worried about a situation on the second season of 'Dancing with the Stars' and he said, 'Do you want to talk about it over dinner?'"

A HEALTHY MARRIAGE

Their chemistry was evident right from the start. According to Peta, Maksim was a gentleman on their first date and that still holds true to this day.

Although the "DWTS" star claims that she and her husband are completely opposite when it comes to their personalities, they have been able to make their relationship work.

Before the pro dancers became a couple, Maksim was engaged to his fellow "DWTS" star, Karina Smirnoff. Meanwhile, Peta was in a relationship with Damian Whitewood who would ultimately become her "DWTS" co-star.

Their romance is undeniably epic, but none of it would have been possible if they hadn't gotten back together after breaking up once. It was Maksim who ended things but it didn't take him a long time to realize that he had made a mistake. So they got back together and the rest is history.
