Michael Douglas of 'The Kominsky Method' Shared Beautiful Family Photos with Wife and Kids from Their Trip to Africa

Looks like Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, had an amazing time in Africa with their kids during the holidays. Douglas treated his fans with plenty of snapshots from their exotic vacation.

Michael Douglas recently took some time off his busy schedule to enjoy family time in East Africa. The Douglas brood enjoyed their vacation as the family matriarch Catherine Zeta-Jones and Douglas documented the snapshots from the fun time on Instagram.

Zeta-Jones first hinted that she was in Africa when she posted a video of a rhino on her Instagram.

A SUPER-FUN VACATION

The video was followed by another one that featured a herd of elephants. Two days later on December 24, she posted a video of herself and Douglas and she revealed in the caption that she and her husband were in Africa.

As for Douglas, he shared a few pictures of his family enjoying their time in Botswana on December 20.

A LOVING BOND

That was followed by a video of his family and himself wishing their fans happy holidays. Zeta-Jones shared the same video on her Instagram as well. The couple kept documenting fun moments from their trip on Instagram and fans were delighted to see the brood having so much fun.

Zeta-Jones even shared a video of her teenage kids, Carys and Dylan, candidly playing in a tin tub. Another adorable snapshot of the siblings featured Carys napping on the chest of her brother.

MEET THE DOUGLAS BROOD

Zeta-Jones and her family returned home on January 2 as the actress noted in a post from the same day.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones are the proud parents to their three kids. The couple has two biological kids together and Douglas has a son, Cameron Douglas, from a previous relationship.

LIKE PARENTS, LIKE KIDS

The couple, who has been married for 19 years, welcomed their first child, Dylan, on August 8, 2000. Three years later, they welcomed their daughter, Carys, on April 20, 2003. In an interview with "ET," Zeta-Jones once revealed that she and her husband shielded their kids from the media for the most part of their childhood.

"We've kind of shielded them away, but they're incredibly mature for their tender years. They get it, and that's just a thing [where] I think that I just got lucky."

CATHERINE AND CARYS ARE PRETTY CLOSE

Although they grew up away from the media's eyes, Carys and Dylan are interested in making a career in the entertainment world. In fact, Carys and her mother were recently featured in Fendi's "#MeAndMyPeekaboo" campaign.

According to Zeta-Jones, she and her daughter share a pretty close bond. Carys shares her mother's sentiments. "It’s really special – I am lucky. We are open and honest with each other. She has taught me all the ins and outs of life but also to have fun and to cherish every moment," she said during an interview with "Hello!"
