The snap showed the actor, his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, and their son, Dylan, wrapped in a sweet embrace. The celebrant was nestled between his parents, and Brosnan held onto him from behind.

The "James Bond" star and proud father captioned the snap,

"Happy birthday, dearest Dylan[emojis] Mom and Dad."

In '99, Brosnan starred in another Bond movie, "The World is not Enough." In 2002, he appeared in "Die Another Day," which was his final role as "James Bond."

Other prominent roles by the actor include "The Ghostwriter," "The Misfits," and the two installments of "Mamma Mia." Pierce is a recipient of the Saturn Award, and an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for his contribution to the British cinema.
