In light of that, the author recently shared a throwback picture that featured her rocking her curls long and loose around her face.
The singer-songwriter penned a simple for the post that read:
"Way back when! Time flies #TBThursday #TBT #ThursdayThoughts #PositiveVibes #Grateful #latoyajackson”
Barely hours after the post went live; La Toya's followers began {https://www.instagram.com/p/B7HkH3OgETn/} liking and commenting on it.
While many complimented the "Starting Over" author on her beauty, a few others pointed out that she looked exactly like her late brother, Michael.
Besides posting jaw-dropping images on social media, the 63-year-old has also become a regular face on reality television.
According to Golden Derby, La Toya has featured on two seasons of "Celebrity Apprentice" alongside President Donald Trump as well as "Armed & Famous" and "Life with La Toya."
Fans would recall that her time on "Armed & Famous" had led her to get trained to become a reserve police officer before she eventually received the police badge that became her physical clue last time.
La Toya had also made news headlines in 2019 after a 1993 clip of her condemning her brother Michael and claiming that he was a child predator and sexual abuser resurfaced.
Insider had reported that the footage, which was from an MTV interview, showed La Toya at a press conference telling reporters that she "cannot, and will not, be a silent collaborator of his crimes against small, innocent children."
The interview was the singer-songwriter's way of responding to the accusations of sexual assault made by the father of 13-year-old Jordan Chandler, earlier that year.
Barely after the footage scandal, The Sun recalled that La Toya had released a tell-all book that addressed the abuse she and her sister, Rebbie, suffered at the hands of their father, Joe.
According to The Sun, in the 1991 memoir, La Toya claimed that her mother, Katherine, was well aware of her father sexually abusing her and her sibling. The author had written that:
"When your father gets out of bed with your mother and gets into bed with his daughter and you hear the mother saying, 'No, Joe, not tonight. Let her rest. Leave her alone, she's tired,' that makes you crazy.'"
La Toya further revealed that it was the abuse that caused Rebbie to leave home when she was 16-years-old.

However, things seem to be better with the Jackson family as La Toya appeared to have forgiven her father for his alleged crimes against her.
