Anthony Anderson Who Hosts 'To Tell the Truth' Is a Doting Husband and Father - Meet His Family
Black-ish star, Anthony Anderson, portrays a loving dad on TV, and this trait also reflects in his real-life family.
Anthony Anderson's "Andre Johnson" is the loving dad of five who, together with his wife, "Rainbow Johnson," try to imbibe the black culture into their kids even as they reside in a White Community.
Just as Anderson's role in "Black-ish" shows him worry about his kids, so does this principle apply in his real-life activities. The star is a doting father of two who is on the quest to raise hard-working kids.

ANDERSON'S REAL LIFE KIDS
Speaking with YAHOO PARENTING, Anthony shared some facts about his kids and how he raises them, and this holds some similarities to how he portrays his role in Blackish. About his parenting style, Anderson told the publication:
"...I wanted to give [my children] everything I didn't have. But I can't spoil my kids. I had to say, 'Wait a minute — am I creating a monster? I can't keep freely giving you things."
The "Transformers" actor went on as he talked about his kids' interests, making it known that his daughter is a student at the University of San Diego who plans to obtain her Ph.D. so she can run non-profits and save the world.
ANTHONY HAD A WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY.
His son is a child actor, and although the young boy auditioned for Black-ish, he did not get a role. Anderson said his son was "too cool to play an awkward kid."
Known for being plus-sized even in the early stage of his Hollywood Career, Anderson shared with PEOPLE that he was never bothered about his weight.
Just like most marriages, Anderson and Stewart have had their troubled times in matrimony.

However, he had to change his eating routine after doctors diagnosed him with Type 2 diabetes. He informed the news outlet that he began eating healthier, and it got better after he got cast in "Law & Order."
The star also made it known that his family was very supportive during the weight-loss period. Anderson once got fans gushy after he showed his gentlemanly traits during the 2018 SAG Awards.
At the star-studded event, Anderson and his spouse, Alvina Stewart, were photographed in a rather adorable stance.
The photo which went viral showed the star on one knee as he helped his lover with her sandals while they dazzled on the red carpet.
IT WASN'T ALWAYS ROSY
Just like most marriages, Anthony Anderson and Stewart have had their troubled times in matrimony. The pair were in the news a while back after Alvina filed for divorce.
At the time, the divorce was based on irreconcilable differences and court documents stated that Alvina requested joint legal custody of the minor and primary physical care.
It, however, seemed like the high school sweethearts were not over with being lovers as they reconciled in 2017.
