This was the case on Tuesday when his son Chris shared a doting photo of his daughter Emilia on her first birthday.

The heartwarming shot showed little Em striking a pose and wearing a cardboard hat as she smiled for the camera.

The little one bore a striking resemblance to her famous grandfather, and it didn’t take long for fans to notice it.

Many of the numerous comments under the post gushed about how gorgeous and adorable Emilia looked.

The New York Times reports that Jerry passed away at the age of 69 in 2004 after a battle with prostate cancer. The iconic actor died at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Orbach has been battling the disease secretly for almost ten years.

Although Orbach was vast in the world broadway and television shows, his most famous act was that of Detective Lennie Briscoe on “Law & Order.”

In his personal life, Orbach was married twice. He was first married to Marta Curro in June 1958, and they welcomed two sons, Anthony and Christopher.

By 1975 they got divorced, and two years later, Jerry tied the knot to Elaine Cancilla. Elaine was with Jerry until his demise.

Unfortunately, Elaine passed five years after Jerry’s death, also at the age of 69, per Playbill.

The former Broadway dancer was reportedly sick with pneumonia in the days leading up to her death.

Elaine and Jerry first met on the set of “Chicago.” However, their love story didn’t start until they starred together in Neil Simon’s “Chapter Two.”

This comes after the blogpost These Are Their Stories, reports that Jerry’s son Chris feuded with his stepmother Elaine over his father’s estate.

Chris revealed in a vitriolic letter that Elaine manipulates him and his brother Anthony out of their father’s $10 million estates.

He also accused her of donating his father’s eyes without asking their permission. Before her demise, Elaine constantly denies all of Chris’s claims.
