Queen Elizabeth Reveals Way Forward for Harry & Meghan after They Announced Decision to Step Back as Senior Royals

Her Royal Majesty The Queen has released yet another statement providing the results of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's planned exit from official Royal duties.

Queen Elizabeth's stated that after many months of conversations and more recent discussions, a constructive and supportive way forward for her grandson and his family have been found. She said:

"I recognize the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life."

Continuing, The Queen thanked Meghan and Harry for their dedicated work across the country, the Commonwealth, and beyond, adding that she was impressed with how Meghan quickly became a part of the family.

She ended, saying:

"It is my whole family's hope that today's agreement allows them to start building a happy and peaceful new life."

Accompanying the Queen's statement was another frim the Buckingham Palace. In that statement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex extended their gratitude to The Queen and the Royal Family for their support.

They added that with the new agreement, they would have to step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments, and would no longer receive public funds for Royal responsibilities.

The new model would see them potentially walking away from a $88 Billion fortune.

The new arrangement will mean that the Sussexes will no longer formally represent the Queen, but will continue to uphold Her values and also maintain their private patronages and associations.

They would also no longer use their HRH title as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family. Harry and Meghan also shared their wish to repay the Sovereign Grant expenditure for the refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage.

The Cottage would remain their UK Family home. The statement, however, failed to comment on the details of Harry's and Meghan's security arrangements, due to the well-established independent processes involved.

In conclusion, the statement released by the Queen of England revealed that the new model would take effect from the Spring of this year.

The new statement by Queen Elizabeth comes a week after she released one stating that she supported Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their quest to live independent lives.

That previous statement came after The Queen held a 2-hour Royal Family Summit with Prince Harry, Prince William, and Prince Charles.

With the new development, many people wonder how Meghan and Harry would live their lives as an independent family, as the new model would see them potentially walking away from a $88 billion fortune.
