KEEPING HER PERSONAL LIFE PRIVATE

While it's easy for fans to get in on information such as these, there are some details about her life that Nyong'o would rather keep private - her personal life.

In her interview with Vogue U.K., the "12 Years a Slave" actress shares why she keeps stories of her personal life to herself, and it's because she feels that as a celebrity, "privacy is a commodity that is hard to come by."

Being an actress takes up a lot of time, and at the end of each and every day, people are just longing to go home to their families or their loved ones. To Lupita, having that "personal space" is important in the industry, as if you don't, it becomes so isolating to be trapped in a world where there are no boundaries between work and home.
