Gwen Stefani Opened up about Her Relationship with Blake Shelton at the 2020 Grammy Awards

Gwen Stefani, 50, and Blake Shelton, 43, have been together for more than four years. At the recent Grammy Awards, the pop singer was asked how the country singer had “helped” her and her response was beautiful.

While being interviewed by Kevin Frazier on Sunday at the 2020 Grammy Awards, the conversation with Shelton and Stefani turned to their relationship. The former No Doubt member gushed about her boyfriend saying:

"He saved my entire life. Everyone was like, 'How was your drive over?' It's like, 'Wonderful! I was with Blake Shelton.'”

Stefani calls her bf “the greatest guy”

The country singer could be seen dancing as he received his girlfriend’s praise and adoration. Stefani continued sharing how “The Voice” co-coach made her “laugh and smile” before calling him “the greatest guy.”

The mother of three also noted that everyone thought Shelton was a great person and not just her. The couple had the chance to perform their recent duet, “Nobody But You,” at the awards ceremony.

The country music superstar wore an all-black suit for the interview while Stefani chose a custom white shell-covered mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana. She paired the thigh-high dress with over-the-knee cream boots.

Shelton lost out on a Grammy Award

Shelton also attended the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards at Los Angeles' Staples Center because he was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for his song, “God’s Country.” However, he lost out to country music legend Willie Nelson for "Ride Me Back Home."

Gayle King notes the couple’s differences

Ahead of the awards ceremony, Shelton and Stefani were interviewed by Gayle King. Speaking about how different they were, the television host compared the pop singer to a “Porsche” and “a vegan,” while likening the country singer to a “pickup truck” and a "beefeater."

Shelton agreed while laughing but explained why their relationship worked nonetheless. He said the comparisons were just “little details” and that what mattered the most to him was who Stefani was “inside.”
