Jessica Simpson Reveals She Shared Kiss with Justin Timberlake after Divorce from Nick Lachey

Jessica Simpson is sharing details of a kiss and tell story between her and singer Justin Timberlake in her upcoming memoir.

Since Jessica Simpson’s memoir, “Open Book,” was released, several revelations from the singer have made headlines.

The latest, however, to cause a ruckus in the media involved singer Justin Timberlake, per PEOPLE Magazine.

To promote her book, Simpson made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday and made the shocking revelation that she and Timberlake once shared a kiss shortly after her split from Nick Lachey.

Explaining to the host Jimmy Kimmel the occurrence which happened in 2005, Jessica said:

“After the divorce and he [Justin] was out of a relationship, he was over at my house, and we shared a nostalgic kiss, and I thought, ‘Oh, this is interesting.”

After the kiss, Jessica recalled that Justin brought out his phone and began texting, which made her feel insecure. It wasn’t, however, until years later that Jessica found out that Justin was texting Ryan Gosling about a bet they had back in the days.

According to reports, back when Gosling and Timberlake co-starred on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” they had a bet on who would kiss Simpson first. Simpson tried out for the children’s show but lost at the final audition to Christina Aguilera.

When Simpson found out about the bet, she told Timberlake that they wouldn’t lock lips anymore. Although it was Jessica and Justin that made out, she disclosed that it was Gosling that she actually had a crush on. In her words:

“Ryan was the one that I was…when I was 12, I was, like, ‘This guy is so cool, and he’s from Canada.”

Much more than fun details of her rendezvous with Timberlake, Jessica’s memoir tells her traumatic story of being a survivor of sexual abuse and her battle with drug and alcohol addiction.

PopCulture notes that details of Simpson’s relationship with ex-husband Nick Lachey weren’t left out as she discussed their love story and public divorce.

She recalled how they first met at a Hollywood event and how Lachey was attracted to her because of her faith and innocence.

Unfortunately, the toll of their public lives and work pressures made them grow apart as revealed by PEOPLE Magazine. Jessica knew they weren’t going to last and asked for a divorce.

The pair split in 2005 after three years of marriage. As seen on Simpson’s website, there are signed copies of the memoir available are in different stores in the United States.
