Amy Duggar of 'Counting On' Fame Bares Her Post-Baby Body 4 Months after Welcoming Her First Child

Amy Duggar is unashamed of her body despite the changes it saw after she became a new mother. She wants others to realize they should feel proud, too.

On Thursday, Amy (Duggar) King boldly posted a selfie photo showing her bare belly — and face — alongside a lengthy caption that contained a bit of language.

Amy and her husband Dillon King welcomed their first child together on October 9 last year. Aside from the C-section part, Amy reportedly had a smooth delivery. Her post-baby post is found below.

First-time parents and proud

Little Daxton was born weighing seven lbs, eight oz, and measuring 20 inches long. It's a relatively normal size for a newborn. Likewise, Amy's body is pretty standard of other moms at this stage.

Now four months in, Amy's body is like that of many new mothers. Unlike some, Amy is extremely proud of how she looks because it reflects her honor in being a mom.

Amy's supportive words

"My body is not magazine perfect, but this is me." She encouraged her fans: "Just remember every scar, tummy pooch, and stretch mark and flabbiness you have now has created life! Be proud of that!"

Amy, who used to make appearances now and then on TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," is a cousin to the Duggar stars. Still, she's gained some attention for being so starkly opposite to the religious family.

Tummy pics at all angles

In the photos, the dark-haired beauty wore a sports bra that left her entire stomach exposed. She looked to be wearing jeans below it. Amy smiled as she took pictures from several angles.

The 3130 clothing founder talked about growing her family last year when she spoke to US Weekly. However, she likely won't go as far as cousin Anna Duggar, who has six kids already.

Amy praises Anna

A few days ago, Amy expressed her amazement to Anna in a tweet revealing that she was up early in the morning taking care of her newborn. Amy needed to know how Anna manages her six kids and still looks good.

As it turned out, Anna was indeed up at the same time feeding her last daughter, Maryella, whom she welcomed two months ago with her husband, Josh.

Amy's also been posting bare-faced photos to show her fans the reality of being a new mom and not the fake life some celebrities put on display. We love that she's being down-to-earth.
