Meghan Markle Will Not Appear in Canadian Reality Series 'I Do, Redo' Amid Reports
Contrary to recent rumors, Meghan Markle will not be appearing with her close friend in a Canadian reality series about second weddings. Netflix partner, CTV tweeted to deny the reports.
Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were breaking away from the royal family, there were many suspicions about how the couple would earn independently, as they intended.
There were rumors that Meghan signed a voice-over deal with Disney which turned out to be true. There were also talks that she was shopping for a Hollywood agent so she could resume work as an actress.
The latest news suggests Meghan is going to appear in a Canadian reality show about second weddings. As to the latter, we can now confirm that there is no truth to this.
THE REALITY TV RUMOR
Page Six initially reported that Meghan will be making multiple, “sporadic” appearances in the television show, “I Do, Redo.” The upcoming Netflix show also stars her best friend, wedding stylist Jessica Mulroney.
Meghan is very close to Jessica. In fact, when she briefly left baby Archie in Canada last month, it was reported that she left the child in Jessica's care and a nanny.

THE TRUTH
Jessica confirmed her participation by speaking about the show in a press release.
“We are aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of our chosen couples whose first weddings did not go as planned due to tragic circumstances,” she said. “This is a side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television before.”
However, as for Meghan’s participation, there is no truth to this according to CTV, which partnered with Netflix for the show. In a tweet on February 2, the company stated,
“As confirmed to @PageSix yesterday, the Duchess of Sussex does not appear in upcoming @CTV series I Do, Redo.”
WHY MEGHAN
There are many reasons to believe that Meghan would be a shoo-in for the show. For one thing, everyone is aware that her marriage to Prince Harry is her second, having once been married for two years to American actor, Trevor Engelson.
Aside from this, Meghan is very close to Jessica. In fact, when she briefly left baby Archie in Canada last month, it was reported that she left the child in Jessica’s care and a nanny.

Jessica is one of the few friends Meghan kept in her circle since marrying Prince Harry. She was also the couple’s unofficial wedding planner. With Jessica based in Toronto, it is expected that she and Meghan, who recently relocated in Toronto with Harry and Archie, would be bonding closely even without Meghan on her show.
