Shemar Moore and Other Stars Honor Kristoff St John on 1st Anniversary of His Passing

Kristoff St. John starred on the CBS daytime series, "The Young And The Restless," as Neil Winters until his death in 2019. One year after his demise, fans and co-stars of the actor turn out to honor him.

Shemar Moore was among the tons of celebrities that paid tribute to the late actor, Kristoff St. John, on the one-year remembrance of his passing.

The late icon, who died on February 3, 2019, starred alongside the 49-year-old on the CBS series, "The Young And The Restless," for years, during which time they established a close bond between them.

SHEMAR HONORS HIS LOST FRIEND

The "Criminal Minds" actor took to Instagram to honor his late friend, declaring how much he has missed him in the last one year while reminiscing some of their fond memories. He wrote in his caption:

"One year… I miss you, STOFF!!! I always will… I hate that I can't pick you up on my shoulders and talk shit with you anymore… I will always carry you in my heart."

Shemar went on to mention how he wished Kristoff was around to tell him what he was doing right or wrong. The tribute accompanied a photo of both "The Young And The Restless" stars sharing a moment of laughter.

OTHER STARS JOIN THE TRIBUTE

More stars joined the tribute in honor of the movie legend including the CBS series' co-star, Bryton James, who posted an Instagram photo of the pair, with Kristoff's hand over his face along with the caption, "My man… I love you forever."

The CBS show's official Twitter account shared a heartfelt anniversary tribute to the lost icon, saying he would be remembered today, and every day after, as he was a "greatly missed member of the #YR family."

IN MEMORY OF AN IDOL

The tributes kept pouring in, with fans also contributing their bits to the remembrance spree via the comment section of various posts. The deceased actor's ex-wife, Mia St. John, also recalled two tragic losses. She wrote:

"I've died twice in my life already. The day my son passed, and...when his father passed. 2020 will be my year of rebirth. For them and all the others that continue to suffer."

Another ex, Allana St. John, shared a picture of the icon with his daughter, adding a caption that reflected on the actor's love for the super bowl, which was nothing compared to his love for his children.

REMEMBERING KRISTOFF

The "Young And Restless" idol died on February 3, 2019, in his Los Angeles California residence when he was 52. Shortly after, the cause of death was ruled as hypertrophic heart failure from accidental causes.

Days after his death, Shemar Moore, who played the role of "Malcolm," Neil's brother between 1994 and 2005 on the daytime series, returned for an episode of the show to act a wrap off storyline of the veteran's character which aired in April 2019.

As today marks the first anniversary of Kristoff's passing, his name and legacy have once again been brought to life in the hearts of countless people who derived happiness from his life on earth.
